Dogs love this, be careful

I bought one for him years ago at a pet store that no longer carries it. It lasted for 7 years and he loves it because it's lightweight and easy to pick up because of the bumps but it was falling apart. When this one arrived my dog went crazy for it as he missed it so much. I highly recommend this ball.

I bought this ball at Frys a few years back and my 1y.o German shepherd absolutely fell in LOVE. She seriously treats it like her child. She wont go anywhere without it, and if she loses it in the house or we hide it she goes absolutely nuts!! Shes so good at playing "go find your ball". She could sniff this toy out 6 miles away. When she first chewed up her first ball I searched online for hours trying to find the exact one because the store stopped carrying it. FINALLY I found it on Amazon and I am so happy. The ball is durable and lasts a long time, she just chews it 24/7. I threw her last one out this morning and she still keeps searching for it. This is probably my 5th one I'm buying!!!! ABSOLUTELY LOVEUPDATE:::: I ordered yellow which is my dogs favorite and they sent me dark green???? Why? I clearly ordered the yellow one and got no notice that I was getting green...... disappointed.

Two huge problems. 1) It left colored marks on the wall. To me, this means the coloring is coming off into my dog's mouth. :( I have no idea how toxic the coloring is. 2) He immediately chewed off some of the points. Again, see point 1) with the coloring. I have no idea how toxic the toy is.Thrown in the trash almost immediately.

It was a perfect ball for my pup for the first 2 hours. She LOVED it! Unfortunately it stopped squeaking within the first 2 hours of play. Not worth the price when the “features” aren’t durable. 😞 She was very sad.

It is the only ball I have found for my 2 medium-sized dogs that they don't chew up within a matter of hours. The last one I had lasted at least a year! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the squeaker... it is VERY loud, but then within a day it was partially broken and only squeaks (at half volume) on "exhale." (On previous ones I have used an ice pick to quieten the squeaker, although the squeaker eventually "died.") However, my dogs still love it and constantly steal it from each other, so I plan to get another one. P.S. When the squeaker was at full volume, I had to put the ball away at night or I would be awakened in the middle of the night by squeaking. LOL!

I had to laugh reading the reviews on this ball. The squeaker being so loud and some goring it to silence it. And how many dog are in love with this ball and carry it around. We chose this because of its diameter - won't roll under the couches !! Our Welsch Corgi was all excited for a new toy, as usual, and after the first indoor throw and fetch we knew the squeaker was going to have to go. No worries though, after just 5 or 6 times hitting the kitchen floor it failed - Whew !! Relief. She loves this ball. She's a voracious chewer and has yet to damage it at all. She carries it all over the house like others have reported. Even takes it to bed sometimes. I think we'll need to get another !!!

We had a toy just like this when our first dog was a puppy. He liked it when he was young because of the squeaker. Once he was a little older, he didn't seem to play with it as much. When we got our second dog, he fell in love and would always go for it over all other toys. He loved it so much he finally wore it out (it had also sat in our yard for almost 7 years, so the sun had done it's job on the plastic). We weren't able to find another one in any of our local stores, so we were very happy when we found it online. The plastic is fairly heavy duty, however it is not meant to be a chew toy. We also have large dogs (85+ pounds) and the toy is a good size. But, it may be too big for small dogs as they might not be able to get their mouth around it. Overall, we are very pleased.
