By by TapCon, Hello Red Seal
Finally a quality product with a useful feature. Don't get me wrong, I'll stick to MITUSA every time the decision is based upon quality over price. This may be one of the few exceptions. Made in Taiwan is practically a given that the quality will be very high. I've driven concrete anchor screws into more masonry substrates than Tiger's driven tee shots. The inherent problem with concrete anchors is that very dense but fragile materials including (concrete obviously) brick, natural stone and even porcelain will fragment when being drilled. This causes the number one annoyance which is the tendency of the screw to "spin out" of the bored hole. There is also the tendency-in my experience with the most well known brand of concrete anchors for their phillips head anchor screws (pro tip: do not use the phillips head Tapcon screws, your driver bit will likely spin out before your screw is fully seated. Use their hex head and a quality impact driver bit). As to not contradict myself, I want to clarify the difference with the Red seal screws. The head size on this screw is very deep socketed #3 phillips which is very firm fitting with the (included) driver bit. ALSO, there is a LOT of torque applied when driving concrete screws using a hammer drill. Snapping the heads off of the screws is common. I have not had a single Red seal screw fail. Regardless, it takes a very practiced hand to properly drill holes into concrete (most novices fail to use water when boring through concrete-USE water to both cool the drill bit and create "mud" which is necessary to create a smooth even cavity for the screw). This is why I'm giving these screws a "5 Star" review because of the addition of the angel wings (and their high tolerance for torque). These provide both a countersinking effect for the screw and for the rubber seal to fit cleanly. On that last note, I want to point out that, curiously, there is very little competition in the market for concrete screws. Tapcon has a virtual monopoly (and they charge accordingly). For the record, the drill bit provided with the Red seal screws isn't intended for long term wear so remember to A. use a good quality Bosch or other high grade bit (often made in Germany are the ones that seem to last the longest) and B. use plenty of water when you drill (don't worry about getting your drill chuck a little wet, the centripetal force will prevent any water from entering the chuck). Pro tip #2, use a sponge as a source to steadily drizzle water over the bit while keeping the bit steady and level (in a straight line with the hole you are boring) so there's no side to side drift which may create a larger diameter than required for the screw to anchor well. Also, while drilling, pull the bit out a few times without stopping the drilling speed to allow the water to cool the bit and "vacuum" out the mud inside the hole. Hope this helps but, then again, this is just one opinion based upon my experience. Happy drilling!

The screws are great
The screws are great for anchoring things to red brick. The included masonry bit and driver bit are junk though.I managed to drill two holes before the tip of the bit wore smooth and became worthless. The driver bit easily slips and damages the screw head. Luckily I had better drill and driver bits to get past this.Just make sure your not relying on the included extras, because they are cheaply made and don't stand up to the work the were designed for.The screws are great and are completely coated for many years of reliable outdoor use.

Solid and secure screws
Worked great for mounting an object on brick. The drill bit went through fairly quickly, the drive bit powered the screws without slipping. I would buy this again.

Just as good as the blue branded kind.
These bolts are very good the fact they are not blue is perfect. Very solid purchase just needed four, I’m glad I have extra the next project. The no. 4 Phillips bit included is good quality as well. Buy with confidence.

Quite large
The screws are quite large not sure it’s what I really should’ve gotten. But couldn’t drive it through the cement even though I followed directions and used the hammer drill first to drill a pilot hole.

Concrete screws
These are the best concrete screws I have found. The bit that comes with them is great, use a hammer drill. The rubber gasket is a bonus, and they drive it every time for me. I have not had one break or strip in the concrete. I love these. They hold tight too, I would guess each screw could hold an honest 80lbs.
