Better than the original
Metal. Better than the old plastic mounting ring that came with the EMG 85 back in the 80s.

Just what I needed for pickguard modification
I upgraded the pickguard on my Donner thin line guitar and the cutouts were larger than the pickups that came with the guitar. I attached these and the guitar looks awesome

Good but be careful with pilot holes and screws
These are fine if the thickness works for you (they are thin). The screws that come with these have smooth shanks for the top 3-4mm. That means if you drill the right size pilot hole for the threads, it will be a little tight for the top of the shank. That's important because these are thing, which means you will likely need to bury the whole screw. Since the screws are so small, they will thus SNAP. Really a bad outcome when it means you have a metal threaded shaft now embedded in your precious guitar body right where you need to sink a new screw. So drill your pilot hole, and then go one drill bit size up and drill a larger hole for the top 3-4mm and you will be fine.

Pickup rings
Very nice pickup rings great for guitars with flat surfaces

low profile, great addition
I used these in a HSH Stratocaster build, they are very low profile, and great addition to my build.

Too big
They did not fit my guitar.

Worth every penny
Of very nice quality and the care taken to make sure they were not scratched, was paramount

Fast delievery.
I haven't actually used these yet. I'm building a Telecaster with humbuckers. They look like they are what I needed but not sure yet how the metal will be. Will it cause a static problem? etc.
