Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters

The Art is not the best or most consistant...Kind of like what I would draw if I tried to make a whole story arc in a comic book...But the Story and Humor is the best of all the Godzilla Comics I have read. And I think I have most of them. Godzilla Rulers of Earth had the best Art though. I recommend!

You may of seen other reviews on here with people saying how they’re copy had pages falling apart. I didn’t listen to those reviews because I thought it was bad luck. But the reviews were true. I found my graphic novel already falling apart in the clear plastic packaging, and when I took it out it exploded literally. Needless to say, do not buy this item. Listen to the reviews, and save your money.

One of the better Godzilla comics good story lines and pretty exciting overall story

Godzilla is the KING OF MONSTERS! Great graphics and a really fun read.

This is the first set of Godzilla comics produced by IDW, back in the misty past of 2011 and considering the quality on display here I'm surprised there were any more of them. The art, putting it bluntly is absolutely terrible, looking like it was scrawled in a weekend by an intern. This is not a style, this is just poorly proportioned, constantly off model and ugly as sin.The story itself fairs little better. You can date it to the second with its witless "satire" of popular culture circa 2011, and the plot is basically "monsters appear because of reasons". Complaining about the characters in a godzilla story feels a bit churlish, but this basically doesn't have any - people appear for a couple of pages, are obliterated by a monster and that's that.So unless you absolutely must know how it all started, I'd skip straight to the much better Rulers of Earth omnibuses - the writing is still a little damp, but it's a massive improvement and the art is solid. If it's still available for a reasonable price The Half-Century War is a great little miniseries with stunning art by James Stokoe.

I enjoyed the item. It’s not the greatest comic series but it’s an enjoyable ride. Art could be better and character development could be improved
