I bought these gloves as tired of burning my hands when loading the wood burner. They are very well made, look good and more importantly they work. Very prompt delivery as well.So pleased with them I’ve ordered another pair for our other wood burner.

Just what's needed dealing with woodburners etc
Quality product which won't disappoint. Nice and practical materials which have a slightly smart appearance in the hearth. Plenty of room even for larger hands like mine. Top marks for being heatproof and complete protection to half way between your wrist and elbow. Just what's needed for opening, loading and closing my multifuel woodburner. Highly recommended.

Solidly made at a very good price
Overall, these are very good multi-purpose gloves, great for a range of tasks outside (or indeed inside) the house. I use them for general work in the garden, and around the BBQ, where I spend a lot of time.However prolonged use near open flames (in my case a charcoal BBQ) does mean they become very hot and you can definitely feel the heat coming through.For example handling a cooking rack on the BBQ with these if fine for a few seconds, but any longer and they will start to burn through and hurt your hands.For this reason 4 stars due to the item description of 'Extreme Heat & Fire Resistant', which I think slightly misleading.Otherwise, with sensible use then they perform well, very good value for money and I'm happy with my purchase.

Sehr gute Handschuhe für den Ofen gute Passform
Ich bräuchte zum Holznachlegen bei meinem Ofen ein paar neue Handschuhe. Diese hier haben eine gute Passform und isolieren hinreichend. Die langen Stulpen verhindern, dass man sich am Unterarm verbrennt. Alles in allem sehr gute Handschuhe.

Acheté pour la cheminée. Tiens bien la chaleur. Assez grand pour moi (1m85) et remonte environ jusqu'à la moitié des avant bras. Usage quotient à chaque recharge de l'insert depuis 1 mois environ et n'a pas bougé pour le moment. A voir dans le temps mais confient. Réception rapide et bien emballé.
