Angelina's Birthday (Angelina Ballerina)

This is a sweet story that is well written and beautifully illustrated. This is one of those stories that I read over and over again to my 4 year old girl and 2 year old boy. They both love it! There is a pretty nasty bike accident where Angelina gets hurt. My daughter gets a little worried about that scene, but nothing too bad. Very nice read and I'm happy to have it in our library.

I gave this book as a gift and the recipient really liked it (and wanted it). Beautiful illustrations. Highly giftable, especially on a child's birthday to reinforce the occasion. An idea is to write into the front cover about the child's birthday that year it was given for a special memory to look back on time and time again.

My 4 year old grandaughter birthday was about ballet since she was taking a class. I loved the book and the story since it was her birthday. I also bought Angelina cloth doll. Was not sure that she would like this since many children do not know of Angelina. I shouln't of worried because she loved it and Angelina now goes to ballet practices.

My daughter LOVES this story! It's just a classic - it's a great story, it's really well written, and the pictures are adorable and interesting. My daughter (who is now 5) first heard this story when she was a young 4 and still enjoys it to this day. Definitely recommend this book.

Bought as a birthday gift for my daughter since reading Angelina Ballerina has become our special thing. Book was a little dirty but was easily cleaned off.

I paid $6.89 for this book. When it arrived it had a bright orange price sticker stuck to the front cover that “Clearance $1.00!” When I tried to remove the sticker, not all of it would come off. This is a gift for someone. I don’t have time to return it and wait for another copy to arrive. Not cool. Do better.

We ordered this book for our granddaughter who is already a fan of Angelina. The photos and text make a great bedtime story book.

loved the story and character of Angelina and all the people in her family & community. Purchased this along with the 25th Anniversary title and the plush Angelina to help make story come to life.

I ordered this book for my little granddaughter's 4th birthday. she adores Angelina Ballerina. The book arrived promptly and safely in these difficult times so I was able to give it to her for her birthday. The book was described by the vendor as 'good condition, second hand'. It was exactly that. Thank you. I know my granddaughter will love the book.

Very, very sweet and entertaining story. I really like that Angelina here is into things not normally associated with ballerinas: she loves her bicycle, and the freedom it gives her, and the feeling of grown-up while she still is not grown up really. I like the girls' friendship described here - not in a sugary sweet way, but with more substance. The illustrations! You can look at them for hours finding new details. That countryside Angelina lives in is heart warming. This is my favorite out of Angelina books my daughter owns.
