We’ve had these for 6-months and I love them enough to get on here and tell y’all this is a great set for yourself, or to gift to someone else. I could not be happier with this set, I absolutely would buy these again. Super pleased with this purchase, I think the price is really good for the quality and quantity of knives, and have found much to appreciate about this set in the time I’ve had it.Got these for my partner, who wanted the black/metal look, but I really wanted high quality knives that were going to function well and be easy to care for - these delivered all on fronts! I think they look amazing, and they are crazy sharp and I don’t see any rust anywhere. I’m a big fan of Cuisinart products and I am thrilled these knives have not let me down there.I think they are pretty light in weight, which took me some time to adjust too, but now I really appreciate this feature. I hand wash and pat dry, and they are holding up great. I used the small curved knife to zest an entire lemon last night - and I am wildly impressed with that specific event, like the process and the equipment and the results. I recommend anyone out there zesting lemons get your hands on this one knife at least and impress the hell out of yourself like I did.Have not done any deboning with these, but I seriously doubt they would let me down. I love the steak knives being incorporated into the set too, and I love that they are not those crappy, black, plastic-handled kind that just exist to open boxes and go missing and never be available when you are dining. There’s just a lot to fall in love with here.

The media could not be loaded. I've read so many mixed opion on these that I was afraid to purchase at first. These are basically amazing. Mine are very durable, very sharp, The handles and all products looks, cuts and feel amazing. Been using for about 2-3 months now. I do not pit in dishwasher for wash cycle for salts, detergent types, water quality, etc may not be suitable for this particular steel. I've let them soak several times when handwashing in my regular detergent and they still look and feel as good as new. I'm glad I was able to get them for this rate, i saw them in the store a few weeks ago and it was triple in price, saved over 100 bucks. Thanks and it looks perfect in its space. They come packaged well, great for gifting (I would've love if someone would have gifted me these lol) Good price, durable for general kitchen use in home. I'm not sure why some people had mixed reviews or low ratings but they must be cutting pipes or steel and common sense would tell you that this won't work. These cut just about all edible items and will last with CARE of the item. Also looks better in person.

Overall for the price, this set is very nice. The steak knife handles are thin, would be better either a little more grip to feel better in the hand.

I am a knife snob. I have a set of Gerber Perfect Balance, which is no longer available, that I have kept in pristine condition. I keep them sharp sharp sharp. I love them. I have a few Global knives and some premium German knives. But while in Covid-19 lock-down with my daughter at her condo who has the worlds worst plastic handled knives I started having sweats and realized it was because there was not a decent knife in the house! I took a chance on this cheap set knowing full well that when my back was turned, the knives might end up in the dishwasher. I gotta say, the knives are decently sharp, well made and look good on the counter. Are they Global quality? No. But if you have a vacation home, know someone who is not a knife person and wont baby the knives, or just dont want to spend a lot of money, then this is a safe bet.

I was a professional chef for 6 years. I have used the top brands of cutlery like Global, Wusthof, JA Henckels, Kai, etc. I went to go visit my friends in Costa Rica. When they were cooking for us, I noticed they used very cheap knives and they struggled to cut ingredients. I had to get them a set of cutlery. It was my mission. I did not want to spend an arm and a leg like I did for my knives. I was able to stumble upon these at a store, and got to handle them. I like the weight of bigger knives. The handles have the little bumps for better grip. My wife accidentally put some in the dishwasher and they did not tarnish as I feared. I wash all my cutlery by hand! With good cutting technique and with proper maintenance, these knives are really good for the beginner and experienced chef. I don't use the included steel. I have a diamond steel that keeps the edges honed better. I have since bought another set as a wedding gift. That couple love the knives! I do recommend these if you're not wanting to spend a lot of money.
