Microsoft had not packed this mouse properly
The button which switches the scroll function to smooth,was not switching the function on and off.I have the same mouse from a customer and that function works fine. The box the mouse is packed in was sitting under a pile of weight, pressing onto that button and likely made it faulty. When the seller receives it back,they should open it and they will see that button is embedded into the card board
