Alberto Danelli Mens Dress Shirt and Tie Set, Dress Shirts for Men, Long Sleeve Button Down, Big and Tall Sizes Up to 5XL

I bought this as a gift for one of my brothers-in-law. He loves it! He's a larger guy and has a hard time finding things online that are the right size, but this one fit him great. He says it's good quality, what you'd expect in terms of thickness for a dress shirt. As long as you dry it and hang, it doesn't wrinkle a lot. It's hard to find sets that come with the tie and square for a good price, but he loves it and says its both flattering and comfy. Fit is definitely true to size as long as you know your measurements, and it's comfy for a dress shirt. He recommends this and will probably be getting a new set every year for holidays.

I would rate the shirt as 5 stars, it feels nice, the size is nearly perfect for me. I’m in the big and tall category of guys so getting a shirt with a 19-19.5” neck usually means longer sleeves than I’m used to. I was looking for 19-19.5” neck and 34-35 sleeves since that’s what I had before. I haven’t bought dress shirts for a long time. I ordered this one and the only option for 19 neck was a 36-37 sleeve. I was concerned it would be oversized for me but honestly, after trying it on and reaching out and up with my sleeves, these did not ride up my arm exposing too much arm. When slack these are a little loose but I’d prefer that to feel comfortable. I really like this shirt’s fit and love the color (more like a dark teal). All that meant 5 stars for me… The tie combo it comes with looks good but unfortunately the neck tie is thin compared to my other neckties bought separately. I thought maybe this was silk but the tie is polyester and not the quality I was hoping for. The shirt’s quality appears good so, given the tie color matches well, I’m overall happy with the price which was less than another brand good quality shirt-only without the tie.

I have a hard time with dress shirts. Although I'm only 6 feet tall, I have arms like a primate! 36 or 37" sleeves are good. Anything shorter and I have to roll up the sleeves so they don't look like 3/4 length. (Insert eye roll here.) In order to get the sleeves long enough, I have to order a "Tall" size. Then the body length is way too long. So here's the good: I like the way these shirts fit. (I bought two of them - one in yellow and one in white.) Overall fit AND body length is great for my body. Not a bad-looking shirt at all. BUT... (There always seems to be a "but", doesn't there?!) The material is very thin. Not a very substantial-feeling shirt by any means. The tie and pocket square appear cheap. No biggie for me, since I assumed that would be the case. I just cared about whether the shirt itself would fit properly, which it does. My biggest complaint is with the collar. While the shirt DOES have collar stays inside, the stays themselves appear too small for the collar. They also seem like they would move around in there. There is no "sleeve" for the collar stays, and no "slot" to remove/replace the small stays that come with the shirt. I like shirts that have the opening so you can remove the stays prior to laundering, and replace them before wearing. The shirt maintains a neat, crisp look by doing that. So bottom line is that I like the fit, but most of the other features seem to have been neglected in order to keep the price down. Albert Danelli execs, if you're listening here's my advice: Maybe up your quality game a bit while offering the same sizing. Perhaps keep this line as a budget line, and add a more premium line with nicer fabric, better collar-stay options, and forego the tie/pocket squares. I'd gladly pay a bit more for a nice-fitting shirt.

Be careful when ordering this product and make sure to double check the measurements. I fit in to a 4x short so i ordered a 5x so that it will be bit baggy and loose to tuck in. I was wrong. When trying it on i would put real money it's barely a big 3x sixe. Very tight and disappointing. The tag on the shirt said i ordered the right size. Will definitely be sending it back. Just assume its at least a full size and and half smaller then they list.
