Beautiful reproduction Eames style for a fraction of the price!
Update 12/02/18I like these chairs and matching table a lot. They’re very comfortable and really look good.So far, almost 2 years from initial purchase, they’ve held up extremely well, with no issues with fit, finish, or construction. They are the the main seating in my little lounge area at the back of my home office.A great look at a great price! :DUPDATE 5: (8/31/17)I finally ordered a second chair because it was an open box Amazon warehouse deal too good to pass up. It arrived today in perfect condition, has already been fully assembled, and is a perfect match in both veneer grain and color to the other chair and table I ordered earlier this year. I'm absolutely pleased with the quality of this product, again, and would totally recommend to anyone wanting a reasonably convincing vintage Eames look and comfort at a fraction of the cost.UPDATE 4: (8/18/2017)I've now had this chair for a little over 7 months and I love it. It is very sturdy, and has had no issues whatsoever. Probably going to pick up a second on shortly so that I'll have two that match the Lexmod table (which I might add is also very nice and sturdy). At the moment they are in the bedroom as a little study area, but they will eventually be moved into the back room which is being converted into a listening lounge. Excellent construction and style for the price. Very pleased with purchase.UPDATE 3: My replacement chair arrived today. It has the rubber bushings/cushions that the original was missing. That said, it assembled easily, without the need for longer screws like suggested in that other review. The fit and finish of this chair is equal to or maybe a little better than the first one sent. And because the rubber bushings are present on this one (see photos), the seat is suspended above the frame, and not rubbing a scar into it like the first.Bumped back to 5 stars - this is a great looking chair!UPDATE 2: Amazon Customer Service is excellent! After working with Amazon representatives, Ivan A. and Enzo R., the issue has been completely resolved. Since the manufacturer refused to send me replacement parts (due to where I live, not due to availability), Amazon, and the representatives above, have arranged for this original chair to be returned, and a replacement is already on its way.Excellent customer service from Amazon!I'm very happy because this is a really nice chair (besides the missing parts). Back to 4 stars for now, 5 if the replacement isn't missing anything.UPDATE 1: It turns out that the reason I didn't have the difficulty others did in assembly of this product is because it is missing all of the "natural rubber cushions" that go between the wood parts (see photos), so the chair is not actually assembled correctly and the seat is rubbing a scar into the frame. The reason I am currently dropping my 5 star review to 1 is because after contacting ModWay, (the company that makes this chair), to see if they could send me the rubber pieces, they refuse to ship them to me and have instructed that if I want this resolved, I contact Amazon for a replacement chair.I'm debating just returning it for full refund and cancelling the order of their table, too (since that still hasn't shipped.)Classic lines of the original Eames model at a tenth of the current price. An excellent reproduction. The plywood (wenge, in my case) is finished very nicely with an even color throughout. All the hardware seems very sturdy; and while I haven't yet purchased the longer screws and tubing like was suggested in that top review - it looks as though it may not actually be necessary. (Maybe they improved the construction since that prior review?) It took less than 15 minutes to get it all put together and leveled - an easy assembly.Anyway, I ordered this along with the matching round LexMod bent plywood table. The table has yet to be shipped, and now that I see the quality of the chair, I can't wait to receive the matching table!I'm very pleased with this purchase from LexMod/Amazon. I'll probably end up getting another once my table arrives.(Please, send the table soon!) :)

Disappointing Build Quality Despite the Stylish Look.
I was initially impressed by the sleek design of this chair, which looks great and fit perfectly in my space. Unfortunately, after only 4 months of light use, the chair broke completely and has been sitting around un used. While it may look good, the build quality is extremely poor, and I’m really disappointed given the price point. I expected it to last much longer, but it clearly wasn’t built to last.I can't recommend this chair unless you're willing to take the risk of it falling apart after a few months. I'll be seeking a refund or replacement as this is simply unacceptable for such a short lifespan.

amazing value
This is not a Herman Miller Eames chair. Those cost hundreds of dollars more. They're a little more refined in contour and materials than this one. That said, this is a great chair for the money. The plywood is of a lower grade than the 'real thing', but it's still quite good and on mine at least, they had clearly given some thought to using the grain of the surfaces to nice visual effect. Fit and finish are good. The hardware is Ikea-like, which makes for easy assembly but certainly an aesthetic downgrade. Nice enough, though.Speaking of assembly, mine went together easily in about a relaxed half-hour. As with all prefabs like this, it's important to put everything together loosely to start with, then tighten everything together. If you tighten the early screws, you'll have trouble getting the later ones lined up. I also found it helpful to retighten after we'd done some sitting in the chair, and I expect to do that every so often going forward. The chair itself is ridiculously comfortable, with lovely contours and ample surfaces (my wife and I are both large people and the chair fits us nicely). Great for long sitting; no need for cushions. The chair came efficiently and carefully packed, and showed up before I expected. Overall, I'm pretty darn pleased with the thing, and based on this one sample, recommend the chair and the company enthusiastically.Update 2019:I've had to do some repair on this chair. The Ikea style hardware plus low density plywood don't hold up well to any kind of torque, so over time the bumpers in the backrest assembly pulled loose. I was able to glue it back together but I no longer expect this chair to be a long term keeper.

Great reproduction
This is a really great cheap reproduction of a famous design. It's very sturdy and easy to put together. I am really happy with it. The natural wood is wonderful.

Legs uneven, darn!
Just assembled it (which was not difficult) but....the front legs are uneven. Shoot! It is just enough to make this wobble. You can barely see even on my studio floor, the right leg is higher than the left. I am using this as a prop for photos but still would have liked this to be correct, I will bring it to trade shows on hard floors and it will be even more noticeable. Not sure whether to disassemble and return or jimmy-rig it. Bummer.

Poor quality
Looks okay, but quality is low. On the back, I could see slight discoloration where the glue appeared to have been applied. I bought the chair mostly for decorative purposes and assembled it properly and securely. About the fourth time someone sat on it, they hadn't even leaned back while still in the process of sitting down, and the back fell off of the chair. The screws didn't even appear to go 1/4" into the chair back. Very poor construction. The screws ripped small holes into the plywood and it couldn't be reassembled. Unless you only plan to stare at this chair, don't buy it. You get what you pay for and quality plywood chairs sell for hundreds more. I'll never purchase from this manufacturer again.
