My dog loves it
I read the reviews and that is what made me purchase this item. My dog's bloodwork showed some anemia so the vet suggested I get him an iron supplement. These are hard and may be difficult for some dogs whose teeth aren't the best. I put it in the microwave for 6 seconds and it is soft enough to eat. Best thing is my dog loves it and his anemia was gone after 3 months of use.

Easy to add daily
My dog eats these. They are hard and my lab is 13 so I break them in half for her. I am having her lab work done soon to see if they make a difference for her. She has not had any side effects from adding them into her diet. She is picky and eats them no problem. You can soften them up in the microwave but they get hot real fast.

Perfect for my pup!
I have a middle aged pit/lab/mystery mutt and he had some trouble with hookworm from the shelter he was in before he was adopted. He required a blood transfusion and as we continued to fight the parasites, I wanted to maintain his iron levels and help give his body what he needed to build more blood after the prescribed his anemia vitamins ran out. These helped with peace of mind and he enjoys them. My dog will eat almost anything, and when I give him and these it takes him a minute to chew through them. Other reviewers mentioned they are very hard and if your dog is picky or tends not to chew well, these may not be for your dog, otherwise I highly recommend these.

Best vitamin for the best price!
I get these vitamins for our 4 large dogs as we feed RAW & wanted to make sure especially now in their older age, that they’re getting the max nutrients. They love them & glad I found em here on Amazon at a much more affordable price than what I was paying double the cost from Chewy. Good quality chew & def recommend!

Good product, but best to purchase from company directly.
I recommend the product, however purchasing it from Amazon is a no. I ordered this for my dog and when I received it, I immediately looked at the expiration date and they were expired. I wasn’t able to return the product to Amazon, but they did refund my money and I ended up purchasing this from the company that makes this product. My dog likes the taste of them and thinks they’re treats!

Simply TOO Hard for our smaller dogs to chew.
I truly believe these are helpful to keep both our mutts' "IRON" count at proper levels. The first bag we ordered had chews that were SOFT enough to chew easily. But the next 2 bags are far harder, which makes it difficult now for our smaller toothed/jawed dog to chew, so now he won't eat them. You can't make them softer "after the fact." You can cut them smaller, but that takes time & it's a hit or miss thing if our smaller dogs eats them. Now he just doesn't. HOPE they can alter the process to get back to the original, softer formula.

Great treats for slight anemia
I have a 1.5 year old German shepherd/husky mix. I did blood work on him and he turned up with slight anemia but the vet said is of no concerned. My dog did seem more tired and sluggish around the house. I started giving him 1 treat a day in the morning and he totally changed. My German shepherd seemed more happy and more energetic just like he was as a puppy. These treats are great and my dog loves eating them. I totally suggest these!

Probably good. Maybe.
My dog has anemia due to lymphoma. I have been giving him these iron supplements along with liver to try and boost his numbers. His numbers have actually gotten much better. It is hard to know if it is because of the supplements, the liver, or other. But, I have his CBC and his anemia is better, so I am going to give this 5 stars because I do believe it at least helped.
