I love this book
One of my favorite parenting books. Must have in my opinion. So many parents out there doing snacks (unhealthy ones too), eating mindlessly, shoving puffs in their kids face (and then wondering why they won’t eat their dinner). Cooking and eating is a great way to bond with child; getting to yum will make you enjoy the time with your kids more.

I read the first Book French Kids Eat Everything and I loved it and was excited to apply it to my life. The problem was while I had ideas it was overwhelming to apply it somethings. She breaks it down easily with games and takes foods that might be hard to get kids to eat, so like broccoli and gives you multiple recipes so you can find a texture or taste a child will like.

YES!
This in one feeding book amongst many on the topic. I REALLY liked this one as a speech therapist and mom. I have an extreme picky eater, and this gave me reassurance that I am not alone in this battle. I liked the descriptions of how the author helped her kids eat more. Prayerfully hoping some of the getting to yum will help us and others.

As a pediatric feeding specialist, I was pleased to read a book that focused on keeping the fun in trying new foods! Whether your child is a hesitant eater or an emerging foodie, I know that parents will appreciate the practical ideas that Karen Le Billon outlines in Getting to Yum. Easy to digest and easy to implement, the games and strategies outlined in her book will get the whole family engaged in exploring new foods.

I have not finished it yet, but so far I am loving it. Our daughter is quite picky, and the tips and strategies in this book have already started working. Thank you so much for this book. I will be getting this book for friends with kids.

Wonderful book! Parents who are interested in helping their children to enjoy eating healthy foods and nutritious meals should read this book! Taste testing suggestions and advice is insightful! Love the recipes at the end.

Not as good as her first book
If you're looking for a step-by-step guide to getting your kids to eat a greater variety of foods, then this may be the book for you. Not as good as her first book, in my imperfect opinion. Some good recipes, though.

I like the practical approach + all the suggestions. I bought the book for my daughter (who has 2 picky eater children). My daughter was a picky eater & I wish I had that book then. Unfortunately my daughter & son-in-laware not into reading the book. ( Pity as they could help their kids) No time they say!
