Purrrrfect!

real flaked fish, no wheat gluten
As far as I can tell, all the other flavors in the Fancy Feast "flaked" product line are made with some sort of processed meat/wheat gluten blend formed into flake shapes. This one is actual flaked fish (and a few small shrimp), no gluten! It's similar to the premium brands like Tiki Cat Luau that cost 2 or 3 times as much per serving. With no added starches, I feel comfortable feeding this to my diabetic cat. The nutritional profile on this is also excellent; at 15% protein and 2% fat, it's got 50% more protein and less than half the fat of many of the Fancy Feast pate flavors. That said, I would not feel comfortable feeding this exclusively to any of my cats. Most cats love fish, but they evolved eating birds and small mammals, so I think they need to be eating foods based on chicken, organ meats, etc too. But this is a great food to be part of their diet, especially if you have a fat cat who wants wet food but needs a lower fat option than the pates. Update: beware of shipping damage! My recent delivery had two cans in the corner of the pack crushed and leaking and the whole package smelled of rotten fish as a result. Yuck! Fortunately the mess was contained by the plastic wrap around the pack and didn't contaminate other items shipped in the same box.

My cat’s favorite
Funny, this is the only canned food my cat will eat. This flavor only. It looks fresh and flaky and is priced what I’m comfortable paying. I like that there is real shrimp in it and that’s what he usually goes for first.

Although my two beasts aren’t very vocal about their likes, they actually do make it well known when they don’t like something. As this disappears rather quickly Im assuming they are satisfied with this food. The food that tastes real good, makes cats purr like a cat food should!

My cat loves it.
This is my cats favorite meal. He loves it more than pate or shredded fancy feast. It's fishy smelling probably why he likes it so much. My other cat (Rip) absolutely loved it too. They both do. Well after all it is real fish and shrimp pieces. Cats love fish.

Good for the most part...
My cats usually love this, but there were a few cans that they wouldn't touch. It was very odd...

They never get tired of this one !
This is the only cat food I can continue to purchase over and over. My cats love it. It looks and smells like regular tuna with a little shrimp laying right on top when you open the can. Cats get bored eating the same thing which is why the only case of any food I buy is this one. They love it !
