Steady flame for 27-28 hours, excellent value.
My son and I recently observed the first Yahrzeit for my husband, who passed away on Yom Kippur 2022. We decided to light the memorial candle on Yom Kippur and on the actual calendar date, October 5, in memory of him every year. That means 4 candles every year - two for him, two for me. These candles are identical to the one provided to me by the funeral chapel last year. I kept mine away from drafts and on a coaster so it wouldn't make a mark on my bureau as it heated up near the end. Totally satisfied with this purchase - just wishing I didn't need to buy them.

Sturdy
These candles are sturdy unlike the glass ones I previously ordered. I had to throw out half of them because the glass cracked or chipped. This will not happen with these because the candles are poured into metal

Honoring our departed.
Candles look great. I feel safe in using them for Yahrzeit memorial when I’m around the house. Probably not a good idea to leave a candle burning, unattended.

Nice looking candle
Packaged well. Came a day late but I didn’t need them right away. Nice candle!

Just light and know all the wax will completely burn down from the sides by itself
I do prefer yarhtzeit candles in a tin like these, rather than in glass containers, because they burn for over 24 hours and you will be sleeping and / or out of your home for a period while these are burning. The glass are likely fine, but I just feel safer with tin. The candles themselves burn beautifully and mostly for more than 24 hours which is very nice. I gave these four stars because they arrive with little loose beads of wax all over the containers. I needed to take the votives out one by one and hold over a large trash bag and use a paper towel to wipe the loose wax off. Then I packaged each candle in a foldover sandwich plastic baggie, so whatever loose wax remained would not get all over my drawers or cabinets. I lost one of the 6 votives because the candle feel out of the tin and then the wick feel into the trash. Wish they were individually wrapped. But like I said the quality of the burning candle is very good. I also have noticed as they burn some wax remains on the sides of the tin. I tried to push this wax down and it sometimes disrupted the burning of the candle which seems disrespectful. When I just let the candle burn by itself eventually the wax on the sides of the tin DID melt by itself. The tins were always perfectly burned with no candle wax left on the sides. I will buy these again. Also very convenient because I live in area where these are NOT available.

Love it is not in glass container. My last purchase, I lost four in a dozen because the glass broke

Save Your Money
If you're expecting your Yahrzeit candles to burn 24 hours, but elsewhere. These things die out between 20 and 22 hours. And when you mouse over the return, refund, or replace policy, you get this summary: "This item can be returned in its original condition for a full refund or replacement within 30 days of receipt." How does anyone meet those basic standards after they learn the candles are trash? What's more, I don't know anyone who'd buy Yahrzeit candles to use them immediately. No, if a loved one passes, you've either lit the candle immediately or you're waiting for next year. Have you seen the customer photos for these candles? I'm not going to blame the company for customers placing their orders during months with hot weather. But if they're like me, buying them in cooler months so they have them in advance... Well, that means the return policy is as much drek as the product. But if you're up for a little story Yahrzeit candle quality, I can give you a little story. My mom died while I was living in the middle of Goyim City. According to my online searches, there were supposed to be Yahrzeit candles at just about every major retailer in the area. I tried calling a few places in advance, but when you explain that a Yahrzeit candle is a memorial candle to anyone in a predominantly non-Jewish area, they all think you want one of the tall candles with Yoshka Pundrik on the the glass.I eventually found a little temple 20 miles away from where I was living that could only afford to be open on the high holy days. Someone had to come in special just for me to sell a $1.00 candle. ONE DOLLAR!!! I bought four, since the day of Dad's passing was coming in a month and half, and figured I might as well gear up for the year after that while I was there. Each one of them burned for 26 to 28 hours. Four candles, $4.00, over 24 hours. This product: six candles, $10.99, 22 hours at best.I wish I'd paid attention to the brand the temple sold me. But I'm not buying Ohr products again.
