Very nice hue Lamy crystal ink

I love this ink. It is so smooth when writing and if you get in on your fingers it’s easy to wash off

Nearly exactly the same shade as Pilot Shin Kai. A bit dry.

Slightly darker than I thought, still beautiful blue!

I fancied a different colour ink for my fountain pen. What to choose? My favourite colours are purple and teal, and there are some very attractive inks in these colours. But I was concerned that I would become bored with such bright colours, or that my handwritten work would look less professional. I tried a number of inks in a local stationery shop, and this one sang to me. Between black and blue, but very distinct rom a standard blue-black - quirky and professional in a single bottle. It isn't the wettest ink, but flows well enough in my vintage Parker 25, but being slightly on the dry side it doesn't smudge.
