Bona Bonasealer
My husband likes this product! Ease of application!

Easy to use quality product!
This product was easy to use and looks fantastic. After sanding my 1930's wood floors and cleaning I applied the BonaSeal with a handheld applicator pad. It is a smallish bedroom. Poured a line on the floor and smoothed it out. Was done in no time. The next day I went over it with a pole sander w/fine grit paper. The BonaSeal brought out all the color in the wood and left a deep satin finish. I finished it with two coats of BonaTraffic. I am using these products to finish the rest of the floors in my house. I was anxious about doing it myself, but these products are great and made it easy. Easy to apply and no mess or smell. Definitely recommend!

Performs exactly as directed
The product looks good and does what it was advertised to do. We mistakenly did not use the sealer before refinishing a section of the floor. The sealer really helped as a first step in the process and well worth it in the final result.

Bona ClassicSeal works as intended -- but be prepared!
If you haven't sanded/sealed/urethaned floors before, be certain that you're well (over) prepared. Read the product technical data sheet and instructions at the Bona web site. Watch YouTube videos. Have all of the tools and items you need prepped and ready to go. Know what to expect before you begin so there aren't any unpleasant surprises. The sealer goes on as advertised and dries fairly quickly (hours) but we left it 24 hours before moving to urethanes. One coat of sealer did (by my rough room estimates) 500-600 sq ft., exactly as the Bona Technical Data sheet advertised. We are very happy with the outcome in the two rooms that we covered (the same evening, moving from the first room backward into the second room). We sealed light maple and cedar rooms and haven't noticed any problems or discolorations. Don't seal yourself into a corner. Have an escape strategy!

Worth the effort and it's easy!
Super easy and no odor. Recommended by professionals so we tried it versus using an oil based poly. Went on easy, dried quickly, and didn't stink up the house. For the bad reviews, I can only imagine what went wrong but the medium must be properly prepared for this to adhere. We also used two coats Bona Traffic HD after the Bonaseal. Looks great!

flaked after a month of use
the coating gives a great shinny look when initially applied (and dried) but after walking on the same floor surface a month, the coating started to flake so it didn't last very long for it's purpose.

A great primer, minimal .change to D.F. natural floor. Applied with Bona t-bar & cut in pad.
My experience was 600sf max. Allowed great flow for 2 coats Bona traffic HD. Could not be more satisfied with result. If no stain, always use one of Bona's primers. Many choices for tint/subtle color. I chose Classic for near colorless.
