You will want to check the diameter of a cuff or hoop that fits well before ordering. I don't DISlike these ear cuffs, but I let myself be sucked in by the product photo on the model. Maybe I didn't think far enough ahead. But you will have to be pierced basically inside the ridge around your ear, or have a very particular ear anatomy to use these in a helix piercing. I would have said that I had been pierced pretty far on the outside of my helix but two of the three cuffs are uncomfortably tight and one won't fasten at all around my ear. I will keep them because they are pretty and they will fit one of my lobes but I will be surprised if they fit a lot of adults as an upper helix cuff.

(Pardon the red ear, I had to wrestle to get my starter earring out) I bought these specifically because of the reviews saying they were a bit small. They work very nicely on an auricle piercing! It's hard to find cuffs that don't droop when the piercing is so close to the edge. It's not perfect, but if it was, I might not even be able to get it on! And I'm pretty sure this is as close as I'll get to finding one that "defies gravity." I'm very happy with this purchase.Edit: I ended up getting a nasty skin reaction to these with hard bumps and flaking. I'm not sure if it was the metal itself or if my piercings hadn't healed enough or both.
