NGK (54212) RC-EUC009 Spark Plug Wire Set

The product works great and I like the fact that it comes with the plastic casing and its also numbered. This is mostly a heads up of some things you may come across.1. My new distributor cap had one terminal that was larger than the others. For this I had to open up the little metal "C" clip inside the new plug wires (ignition Coil)2. These wires fit the smaller head of the spark plug. You may want to check ur plugs or while your at it might as well buy new spark plugs with the removable back. On some spark plugs the back removes (unscrews) just in case you have a large wire or smaller wire terminal. In this case I had a large spark plug back and the wire terminals were for a smaller back. I had to my bike to 2 Autozones just to get a full 6 pc set were the backs unscrewed. by the way I got flat tire on my bike so this took me two hours to do this. It should take you no longer than 30 min.Anyways the wire looks really nice.

I recently switched my old spark plug wire harness as the old bmw was weathered and well over due for a change used to notice start up issues and seen that the old ones were fray and not connecting as cleanly as once before.So I ordered these hoping they'd fit my 1988 bmw 325i convertible and they did perfectly the kit even comes with a little bit of lubricant for the spark plugs. I know will replace the rotor and the cover and the plugs soon as well only regret they don't have a complete kit to buy at once.It's a bit daunting of a task to do so if your not handy or mechanically inclined however I am and I also recommend that if you attempt this project that you take plenty of before pictures and get painters tape and a sharpie to mark which boot goes where for example 1 to 1 and so on then the install will be both simpler and easier then if you take everything off without the general idea of what one goes where. As the wires tie back to the front as well so make sure you know what you are doing. Look up YouTube videos as well just a couple words of advice.It will in the long run save me money supposed to help with mpg, and well since I didnt have to pay some high cost of a mechanic or have a dealer install just a tad time consuming but overall worth it.I'll update this review in a couple months to update if there is any issue and so on. But overall it's a 5 star buy in my mind.

Great looking and well made plug wire set. Made in Germany, assembled in Mexico. Wires are thick and fit perfectly. Comes with dialectic grease to ensure plug ends fit smooth and will come off easily when needed. Two points on installation- first be sure to spread grease thinly around inner edge of the plugs, not getting any in the middle where the spark plug tip will go. Second, the impulse wire that goes to the other side of the engine on later 325i models is very hard to route without taking off a lot of parts from front of the engine. Alternatively, you can easily route the wire from distributor over the front housing, under the thermostat and come out exactly where the factory wiring did. Then use a zip tie to keep wire with the other wire that plugs in right next to it. I checked this routing and it’s easy and the wire is not in harms way. This kit has a long enough pulse wire to do this easily. Job takes 15min. I also cleaned my plugs while I was at it.

This is a very high quality product and the installation was very easy the plugs also come with a warranty on them and it's an official NGK warranty. Overall I put them on about a month or two ago and drove over 1500 miles on them and went on a 1200 mile road trip in 2 days. At one point on my trip I went 115 miles on 3.599 gallons of fuel which is roughly 32 MPG. I have had no issues with these plug wires thus far. I would suggestion replacing your Distributor Cap and Distributor Rotor (maybe Distributor coil also, but usually Distributor Coil will work or it doesn't) along with Spark Plugs, and your usual maintenance (fuel filter, air, oil/oil change) The difference that these products make to your engine are incredible and very satisfying to actually see the savings at the pump. (23 MPG was the highest I got before I replaced these parts)

Fit and finish are excellent. You do need to pull the coil and some plug wires through the shield to get the correct length. E30 failed emissions prior to the new wires. Passed with flying colors with new wires and all other tune up parts.. Expensive, but cheaper than many others that are lower quality.

Perfect Fit. Excellent performance. BMW E30 body M20 Engine 325i Coupe model. Premium quality spark plug wire set I highly recommend them. (Be sure to unscrew and remove the terminal end caps of your spark plugs before installing the wires as these plugs fit direct to the threaded terminal tip of the spark plug.) Enjoy!

Easy quick install. All wires are clearly labeled for simple plug and play to cylinders and Distributor cap. Ignition coil/ Wire #7 with boot seems a little tight but still fits and works.

Perfect replacement part at a fraction of the price of the dealership definitely recommend.
