Butter Dish, Krokori Stoneware Ceramic Butter Dish Butter Container Margarine Dish with Wooden Lid Food Storage Box for Daily Use

The quality of this dish seems good, and the crackly black ceramic mock-cast iron appearance is really nicely done. I've only just opened the package so I can't speak about longevity, especially the ability of the wooden lid stand up to repeated washing. It's a compact little dish and it will only *just* take a 250g pack of butter. With the wrapper still on the pack, for instance, there's less than a 5p coin's worth of free depth and the lid has to be pressed on tightly to force the block into the bottom corners of the dish. But with the pack unwrapped, you can just about get the block to sit down OK and it's pretty useable. The dish has enough weight to stop it scooting around the table when you try to grab a knife load of butter (at room temperature, that is). And finally, the Chinese brand name KROKORI is a delightful piece of wordplay - it look me a while to appreciate its charm :-)

Perfect minimalist modern butter dish. I’ve had this a few months and find it an ideal match for my home and also it holds a full packet of butter. It’s easy to microwave the butter in the dish if it’s too hard to spread. I love it.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas because he likes deep butter dishes and it looked smart.Unfortunately, in less than a month, the wooden lid has cracked in two places. The lid has not been washed or been anywhere near water, so we have no idea why it would crack - unless it is not suitable for the fridge. Presumably this type of wood is not suitable for a butter dish. The dish itself is lovely.

Finally a butter dish you don't mind having on display! It's modern and smart and would sit well in pretty much any style of kitchen. Definitely something you wouldn't mind having on your table when entertaining.

Excellent value for money, blends well with our granite work tops. Many butter dishes of a similar genre are three/four times the price. I also like the fact that the lid is sealable, many are not, which lends itself to other uses.

I like it, but I washed the lid by hand - okay, then my other half put it in the dishwasher. It warped and no longer fits properly. I'll have to get the belt sander out!

The reason that I have given this butter dish 4 rather than 5 stars is that it is slightly too small but this is a slight inconvenience but it looks good in my kitchen

Love the style and colour. It doesn't quite fit a full slab of butter but I really like it. Accidentally ordered 2 of them and it was too expensive to mail one back so I guess I'll keep one spare.
