Great cheap shifters
Replaced the cheap shimano SL-A050 shifters and separate brake levers that came on my low end road/gravel bike with these. They came with new cables, but I did have to pick up some new housings (which I expected to need anyway) as my old setup's housings weren't long enough. They work great, nice crisp shifting, easy to install, all good, especially for the price. My only complaint (which would probably be true of the Shimano ST-A070 shifters too) is that the body of the shifters around the bar is a bit bulky on compact drop bars, so to get a comfortable transition under the hood I needed a few extra wraps of bar tape underneath the hoods themselves. Not a big deal really, so it's still 5 stars in my book.

Really solid budget option for brifters. Microshift clone.
Great budget brifter option. Pretty much looks like a Microshift clone at 1/2 the price. Put these on a 1991 specialized Allez Epic build. When you're under 10 speed drivetrain everything Shimano is pretty compatible. I ran it through the stock 106 Shimano Rear and Front derailleurs with no issues with pull ratios. Feel and performance on these are great for the price you pay. Couple qualms: 1) You'll need to supply your own brake cables. If purchased other micronew brifters before it's pretty much the case for all of them. 2) The top of the brake lever sometimes gets caught in the hood when returning from engagement. However, after enough use, this seems to self-mitigate after the "break-in" period. 3) Even though the left brifter is supposed to be for a 2x front chainring set mine seems to have an extra "click" for a 3rd. Sometimes I'll need to engage that added click to properly shift up to the largest chainring. Otherwise, it all works fine. It's really hard to find a dedicated 7x2 brifter (versus 7x3), so for that reason and the price point it's still a good buy.

Perfect!
These are for my back up bike. They're inexpensive, yet appear durable. I'll get them installed shortly and update my review. I ran through the click cycle on both levers and they look fine. I don't anticipate any problems but I will let you know. Also they arrived on time and without any damage........I guess the packaging was ok considering that the item isn't overly delicate.

Surprisingly Good
Worked perfectly with Shimano 500EX 2x7 groupset. Converted downtube shifters to these and had no issues installing. Shifts are all accurate and smooth. I bought separate Shimano shift cable and housing since provided cables didn't come with extra housing.

They’re fine
They’re ok, not incredible. I hate that you only get one downshift per pull, not two or three like every other shifter I’ve ever used. Starting a climb, be prepared to push the lever once for every gear, not once or twice.

Sturdy
So far they seem really nice. I thought they'd be kind of small or breakable since they are cheaper than the name brand products. But, they seem really pretty sturdy which is great for a gravel bike

Fits and indexes perfectly
Paired with a 1980's Shimano Light Action rear derailleur and a Dura Ace 7 speed freewheel. I was prepared to do a bit of fine-tuning but once the cable tension is adjusted it indexes perfectly. Now my Centurion has brifters.

Great Value
I am very pleased with the shifters. After installation they work just fine. I don't know what took me so long to get them.
