Louisville Slugger BBFN153 2015 (-13) Baseball Fungo Bat, 35-Inch/22-Ounce

Great bat. Broke my wood Easton fungo on 4th softball practice. This performs just as good as wood fungo. It does make a loud ping noise. I taped the barrel with black trainers tape and it solved the pinging noise. The grip is nice. I like the 35" bat versus my old 37" bat. The shorter bat feels less cumbersome and still performs good for both grounders and fly balls.

This bat has some good pop to it and will last because it is metal. If you're a coach this can be a relief because high school kids and younger tend to be very immature and might try to hit with a wooden fungo bat or goof around with it, causing it to break. That won't really happen with this bat and you can still hit an excellent round of infield and outfield.

Nice bat. Good for fungo beginners that don't understand how important it is to hit balls in the sweet spot. Wood fungo's break if you miss the sweet spot and need an experienced user.

A little long, but it gets the job done.

Maybe it's just me, but it feels like a typical softball bat. It has a dead sound to it. I bought it because I thought it would allow me to hit sharp grounders and flick some flyballs to the outfielders, but I get better results from my son's 31" big barrel bat. Not quite like the fungo bat that my high school coach used.

Good pop, but a little long for someone that's 5'4". Wish the would make them a little shorter for us females. . .
