They are comfortable for a little while
I have been looking for light compression socks to wear on a long flight. I found two pair that are medium compression. They are comfortable for a little while, and may help with swelling in the evening, but they didn't last through the all day at work test. I bought one pair that didn't have the compression listed clearly on the page and they ended up so tight that it was extremely difficult to put on and I couldn't even wear them for 5 minutes before they started to hurt. Then I got these. I like the fact that even though they say medical long nurse compression socks, they look more like trouser socks. They are not extremely thick and are easy to put on. I tried them around the house for a couple of hours and they remained comfortable. They did leave ridges in my legs from the ribs in the socks. Today I wore them all day at work. It was 11 hours total before I was home and could take them off. They didn't hurt but by the end of the day I was ready to take them off. That may have more to do with the fact that I would rather wear sandals than shoes an socks and usually do! I think these will work for my trip and love that it comes in a 3 pack that is reasonably priced. If the socks were smooth instead of ribbed they would be perfect.

I have found that in the last few months the swelling is getting worse, and my knees were hurting more
I'm a nurse, and am on my feet upwards of 12+ hours a day. No matter what shoe you wear, your feet are going to hurt some. I have found that in the last few months the swelling is getting worse, and my knees were hurting more..so I thought I would try a pair. I didn't want super high compression, and was not paying 30 bucks for a pair of socks so these worked perfect. You can feel the "tingling" as soon as you put them on. They provide enough compression for me during the day and my feet are not swollen and the knees feel much better. They are breathable so I don't feel like I am sweating profusely through them, and yet still provide the perfect amount of light compression needed. Definitely recommend them, and intend to purchase more.I do have to say I did get a "run" in one of my pairs the first time I wore them. My toenails were needing cut, but I just ran out of time int he morning before work, and I'm sure between that and the constant pacing in Danskos (we all know the seam is RIGHT where your toe line is..)it was bound to happen...so a little disappointed on that front, but overall a pretty good product/value.

open toes?
Toes work better when they are actually sewn up, returning them, I have fat legs, they are very light compression and are very thin, they do come all the way up in my legs but not having the toes sewn in, they are going back.

Almost perfect
These socks are very comfortable and give support without squeezing your legs to death. My only reason for four stars rather than five is the feet are a little loose fitting my size 7 1/2 feet. I prefer a more snug fit in the foot and though they say one size fits all, it's hard to imagine them being comfortable at all on a smaller foot.

... worn for 3 years and they are still in good to fair condition
I have had 3 pair of these that I have worn for 3 years and they are still in good to fair condition. These knee high stockings provide light support and are easy to put on. Even the light support is sufficient to keep my 60 y/o ankles from swelling after many hours on my feet. I wash in warm water but always air dry these. Fit is good but they would be too large for very thin or short legs and too small for extra long or heavy legs. I am 5'7" and not thin but they fit me well. I also bought a set of white socks like these for when I wear white or light pants. I gave one of these to another nurse and I have had to tell my co-workers what to look for. These are a great value for a very good product.

Good as just some long black socks
Good as just some long black socks, not very compression-y at the foot area, the legs are pretty good, if you want compression there. Also, this material makes my feet sweat, but I kind of just have sweaty feet anyway.

Good, comfortable compression sock for the price
Good for the price. The foot is really long. Too long for even my husband's foot. But these are very comfortable while also working for compression. I thought that having a bit of extra sock at the toe would be a problem, but I don't even notice it. And that stuff usually bothers me. Would buy again.

Compression Socks Work Well
The toe of the sock needs to be reinforced. I find little holes starting at the end of each sock. They are a little to long for me so the heel of the sock doesnot set on my heel. Otherwise the socks have preformed as well as I hoped they would.
