Octopus Plush, Stuffed Animal, Plush Toy, Gifts for Kids, Sea Critters, 8"

I’m very happy with the quality of the plush especially at this price point. I love the texture and color of the fabrics. The plush has a bit of weight to it and it is very soft. The shape is cute and realistic. It looks great as a decoration, but it also feels very durable to me, so I think it would be great for a child as well. There were no loose threads, imperfections, or quality concerns whatsoever on mine. I truly have no complaints about it at all. I give it 5 stars.

My sister really wanted a stuffed octopus, so I got her one for Yule. It came on the expected delivery date. It was really difficult to wrap though, because of it's shape, so maybe putting it in a gift bag would be a better idea. It's adorable, and seems good quality. My sister is fourteen and won't be playing with it much, it'll probably just hang out on her bed. It should be able to put up with a younger child's use (depending on how they treat their toys) for a long time, it is well-made. It's filled with stuffing, not beads, but the eyes are hard plastic or something similar and might come off if a baby or toddler chewed them and could possibly pose a choking hazard (I think it's marketed for 3+ years, but I'm not sure and I'd keep that in mind if you were planning on giving it to a little kid). The arms are not poseable, but they're stuffed good and they keep their shape. I think that I made a good choice for what I'm doing with it.

Very cute octopus! Soft and of high quality!

This is a beautiful stuffed toy. The price seemed amazing, and upon opening it I figured out why -- it is much smaller than expected. Probably the size (in the description) was if you spread out the legs. Overall, it was worth the price.

It's a cute octopus, but it's smaller than you'd think (it IS 8", but the body is maybe 4.5") and the arms don't snap. In fact, there's nothing inside of them to let you pose them at all. I think maybe the wrong item description got pasted into that section. I do think it's worth the money, since it's a good design of an unusual species and is still around the average price for its size. It just doesn't match the description. It feels like the base is stuffed with plastic beans and the body (or "head") is stuffed with polyfill. The fabric is very soft and has a nice bumpy octopus texture to it. It has patches of different shades of brown, which adds a nice touch of realism (since octopuses camouflage), except at some of the seams where dark and light browns butt up against each other. I don't think kids would mind that, though. It's also got a stitch on the back of its body to hold it down into a realistic flabby octopus shape. The underside is plain, no mouth. I like the brown and cream color scheme. Overall it's very nice.

It's a little small so pay attention to dimensions. But very cute and grandson loves it.
