Is there any way to remove the tough, brittle wrap and the cap easily? Took me over 5 unpleasant minutes.

The wrapping and the cap are very difficult to open. Please make it easier to open for those of us with medical issues with our hands. I love the product but hate having to open a new bottle. I have been using a box cutter to take off the wrapper and a pliers to open the lid. Not very sage at all.

Can i use dental fresh advanced plaque and tarter additive in a filtered pet watering fountain?

Probably not since it has a filter, I have removed the filter and change water every day. You might want to message the manufacturer of your drinking fountain for better information.

Why is it turning water brown/rust color?

It does have a type of chlorine in it- if you have well water or iron in the water then it would turn that rust color.

Why does the ad above say there are two fragrances? Description says no odor or taste. ??

Good Question! There really isn't much smell, and there is very little flavor--I tasted it. After the dogs drink it, there is a hint of fragrance to their breath, but not like breath spray or mouthwash for people. It is a very good product and helps tremendously with "poodle mouth" better than anything else I have tried. Works on my other breed dogs, too.
