A different class of chalk

This chalk, more specifically this version of this chalk is probably the best available on the market. The control and feel of the cue after using feels incredible compared to its predecessor ''Triangle'' you do not have to chalk up half as much because of how well it sticks to the tip. No marks on balls or table either. Its expensive yeah... but worth every penny.

Amazing for preventing kicks, but astonishingly expensive!!

This is the latest incarnation of the new-era chalk, which was specifically designed to fight the battle against kicks in snooker/pool/billiards. All indications are that a) it was indeed the traditional chalk which was primarily responsible for causing kicks, and b) this new chalk hugely reduces the incidence of kicks. The first version of this new chalk was criticised for almost falling off the cue tip as soon as it was applied, but this new version aims to address this problem. So far, I've found that this chalk sticks fairly well to my cue tip, but nonetheless I feel like I need to re-apply the chalk a good deal more frequently than I used to do with the traditional chalk. My big gripe, however, is with the price of this chalk. Of course I understand that there are research and development costs that need to be amortised into the retail price of the product, and I also understand that the raw materials and manufacturing process might also be more expensive, and would also have to be recouped in the purchase price. But still, really....?? £20 for a small piece of chalk...?!! That seems to me to be extraortinarily expensive, especially when compared with something like £2 for six pieces of the old-style chalk. I can only hope that the price will come down dramatically over the next few years, as more and more players at all levels of the game adopt it.

Brilliant Product

This chalk is a brilliant product, it does not mark the table on screw back shots like other cheaper chalk does. It is very smooth on the cue tip and has great grip on the cue ball. It has improved my game by about 25%

Better control of the cue ball.

The media could not be loaded. This chalk really make difference. At first I was skeptical about spending so much money on just one unit of chalk. However, although I still find it very expensive, I can't help but say that it really has better grip and provides better control of the cue ball.

Terrible stuff to me, others like it

It’s a terrible chalk. It’s like trying to put play doh on your cue. Apparently stops kicks and you don’t need to chalk it as much. Utter rubbish. I found myself chalking my cue more than normal as it doesn’t spread well on your tip like traditional chalk. Others swear by it, but not for me.
