SAMSUNG Hafcin DA29-00020B HAF-CIN/EXP Fresh Refrigerator Water Filter, 1 Pack, White

Works on my French double door refrigerator, easy to install as well.

I am a repeat customer having purchased it several times in the past. I would only buy Samsung’s brand for my refrigerator as I have had consistently good results. My experience with other cheaper substitute brands wasn’t good and it affected the water taste and would leak charcoal.

This is the water filter made for my refrigerator. So it fits, is easy to install, the water doesn't have any funny taste and there is no alternative filter for the refrigerator water and ice maker. There is no fact sheet on how well this filter works or what minerals/contaminates it removes. I live in an area serviced by a private water company and the water is hard and has such poor quality they advise that children and elderly should not drink it. Because there is no support or detail for the quality of the water this filter produces, I have to go buy water to drink. I do occasionally use the ice from this and I use the water to boil food and I give the filtered water to the dog and put some outside for the birds, I figure it is probably better than what is coming out of the pipes. I gave it 5 stars as I guess it is doing what it claims to do (they don't make much of a claim). The dog and birds seem okay. You would need to pay to have the water from the pipes tested and then the water after being filtered tested at some lab to know if it is really doing something and they aren't promising anything specific so what is the point of spending the money and effort. Reverse osmosis water is a quarter a gallon at the water store and they guarantee the water quality so I haven't had the need to pursue this so I just keep paying my quarterly tariff to Samsung in the form of a refrigerator water filter.

Change my filter on refrig last week. Was easy to insert. Notice a lot of pressure at first when using water on frig, better now.

It said, on the packaging that there was a magnet included to test the authenticity of the filter and there was no magnet inside of the box whatsoever. Found that to be very odd but I put it in the fridge and it seems to be working fine.

Great value, perfect fit and happy to be able to find the exact Brand as my Frig. Will buy again.

Arrived promptly. It does fit my fridge but I noticed the top is different from my old Samsung filter. I just hope it doesn’t leak. We will see as time passes.

What can one say other than that this is the exact fit water filter for the Samsung French Door Fridge that I own. Easy to remove the old filter, easy to put in. It's just one of those necessary things you need to change every few months to ensure that your water from the fridge (and ice too) are properly filtering out contaminants.
