These are great connectors, solid, will not bend or break. As others have stated, the problem is the set screws They will only secure a certain size of wire. I got away with using 14 gauge wire by way of solder. I stuffed the wire through flush to the end and then filled in the hole with solder from the top. It's a solid connection and can still be reused if needed. So there is another option.
