Now I know the temperature and humidity on my house, front porch, crawlspace area 1 and 2.
I have some dampness moisture issues in my crawlspace. I want to determined humidity there compared with the exterior in the hopes of reducing humidity and moisture content. I am soon getting a hot tub and I will be interested in keeping up with temperatures inside that unit housing. Setting up took a little trial and error and rereading of the leaflet that came with it and on line info in the product listing. The main unit and 3 remotes all read within a degree and a humidity percentage or so when placed side by side. They all registered within 10 minutes or less. Response time is fine for my needs. In keeping up with humidity in my crawlspaces and exterior I hope to determine when to open and close my foundation vents or whether I need to take steps toward a sealed crawlspace. The main unit is actually smaller than I expected but still very readable on my laundry room wall. 4 sets of readings... the main unit in that room and remotes 1,2,3. Battery life not determined yet. This was about the first time I remember betting an item like this with not batteries supplied and I needed 9. There is no naming of unit locations, just labeled 1,2,3. Currently located with 1 on the front porch and 2 and 3 in order of location front to back. Of course there is no digital recording of readings. I am pleasantly surprised. Only negative is that the remote cases are a little tricky to open and close for battery replacement or polarity change as I got one battery in backwards. 6 month update.... still working as intended. I have not had to replace any batteries yet. It is keeping up with the sensor remotes. Very accurate where I have another thermometer giving info on the same location. One remote is placed in my hot tub frame and giving me temperature and humidity there too.

Power on Sensors (especially #1) first before adding batteries to the main display
I'm writing this just to add information. When it came time to replace batteries, I replaced them in the Display unit and sensors #2 and #3. #1 sensor was out in the yard and I didn't go get it at first. After replacing the batteries, nothing worked. The display was working fine, but it showed none of the sensors. After reading another review here, I learned that I had to power up the sensors first. So I tried that and again nothing worked. Once I repeated the process and included #1 sensor with new batteries, finally everything worked once again. So I guess the #1 sensor is important to the process. I have been very happy with this device for more than three years now.

Reasonably accurate & durable
After unpacking and letting the units sit for an hour, the main unit and the remotes measured within 1 degree of another thermometer I had. I didn't have a hygrometer to compare against, but the numbers are plausible. Response time to temperature changes is on the slow side. Performance has been good across a range from negative teens to low 120s Farenheit. Range is decent, working through a floor and a few walls. The process of connecting the remotes to the base is not particularly reliable, taking a few tries, but once connected they do stay that way until batteries fail. Batteries in the main unit last me about 11 months, while remotes tend to be better. There's some variation in battery life between locations, likely due to the batteries' performance in temperature extremes themselves rather than any issue with the remotes. Remotes are not labeled as weatherproof but have survived installation under partial cover which does not protect against blowing rain and snow.

Works well so far but be sure to iinstall batteries in sensors first
Received shipment on time based on Prime membership. Shipment was packed well and was easy to unpack. I installed nine AAA batteries (which I provided) into the display unit and three sensors. The sensor temps failed to display. I reinstalled the batteries and still couldn't get the displays to work. Instructions were provided so I finally read them and learned that batteries must be installed in the sensors before the main display unit. That worked. With the sensors sitting together the readouts were within less than a degree of one another. Updates are fairly slow, as they are with a regular thermometer, so don't expect instantaneous changes, such as you might expect with a grill thermometer, for example. I put one sensor in our kitchen refrigerator, another in the same refrigerator's freezer, and the third in our main freezer a floor below. All temps read well and consistently so far, using Duracell alkaline batteries. The sensors are each labeled 1, 2 or 3, respectively, and they do match the displays numbered accordingly, so there was no confusion about placing the sensors where I needed them to be to achieve the order of readouts I wanted.. The sensors are physically small so they don't use much space, and the display unit is easy enough to read.. With only about 24 hours of use there appears to be no issue with the cold environments and metal enclosures. Assuming the unit continues to work well, I would consider this to be a good value, with the absence of batteries being a notable exception..

Effective at reading the temperature and humidity within different rooms in the house.

I was a bit sceptical about this at first as I've bought a few that didnt read correctly, so I tested it alongside another thermometer to check the accuracy. I was pleasantly surprised to find the readings were very consistent, which gave me confidence in this unit. The display is easy to read, the wireless sensors connected without any issues, and it’s been great having both indoor and outdoor readings at a glance. Setup was straightforward and it’s been reliable so far. Overall, a solid and accurate thermometer that does exactly what it promises.
