Work as advertised. Quite small so easy to locate. Remains to be seen if the battery lasts 10 years....

Works fine
Works fine. Tested with a slightly damp cloth and it beeped loudly until I took the cloth away over a minute later so ignore people saying it beeps briefly then stops. Battery can't be changed , says it's good for 10 years , even if I get half that I'll be happy for the price. Says it will beep occasionally when battery is dying , like a smoke alarm. All good.....happy with my purchase.

Works
Bought to put in the loft for the water tank as it has overflowed several times due to a fault, checked it before putting it up and it worked fine. Tested it on damp kitchen paper as it said in the instructions and it went off good and loud. Haven't heard it go off as there's not been any overflow so far thank heavens, but I can't see why it won't work like during the test I did. It's quite small so ideal for tight spaces.

Great little leak detector
This is perfect for what I need, it's small and well made and has a high pitched alarm when tested on a damp towel. Another reviewer said it only sounded three time and that was it, but mine sounds three times - on and off until the damp towel was taken away, which would definately wake me.I was worried it might take up too much room, but it is actually smaller and more compact than I expected (which is good!).I have put it under our sink where we've had an issue with leaks, so I no longer need to worry of damage to the kitchen carcass from water damage. I like the fact it has a 10 year long battery and it doesn't take up too much room.

Good useful product
Worked well in testing. Gives peace of mind. I leave a couple under some rarely seen areas that would be a problem if there was a leak that wasn't discovered for a while, under the bath, behind the washing machine, etc.

Put under a sink two years ago. heard a very loud beeping in the evening -It worked! Caught the leak early saved damaging things

Thankfully they work.
Bought when out boiler leaked. Have one in the loft with the boiler and it's had to earn it's cost twice in 2 years. Loud enough to wake the household when on a different floor than we sleep.

Simple and effective sensor
We've had our hot water storage unit spring a leak a couple times now and has caused major issues with the ceiling below. So put one of these in a bowl under the tap that seems to be the repeat offender, and a few weeks later, we heard the unit loudly beeping indicating that the tap was leaking again. Managed to get to it before it caused damage to the ceiling again. The simplicity is brilliant, and it's loud enough to be heard anywhere in our small house.
