great colors, though
A bit smaller than anticipated; great colors, though; good, solid craftsmanship. Work area already "dinged" up a bit by a hyper 2 year old, but still works great and continues to draw his attention. WIN!

It could be a little bit sturdier. But it's holding up so far

Complete waste of money. Poor quality
This item is a complete waste of money. Bought for my son for Christmas and it is already broken. The predrilled holes are not lined up, which makes assembling extremely cumbersome. due to the fact the holes are not lined up the wood immediately split upon assembly.

...meh
We received this item today as a gift. I'm a little disappointed in this item because I've had my eye on it since last year for my daughter. I thought for the price, it would've been less flimsy. My daughter is 4 turning 5 years old. She's average height for an almost 5 year old and I think this workbench is still a good height for her. The tools are not the greatest and most easy to use especially if you are going to buy this for a child just turning 3 years old. The most they will use is the hammer because, let's face it, you just knock it around and they may use the saw just for the fun of it. The screws do not easily fit into the holes. They require a little finessing and harder pushing for little hands; especially when taking into consideration they must use one hand to hold the screws over the holes and one hand to PUSH and use the tools. This is the part I hate the most about this for an older child. Older children upwards of 4-5 will actually WANT to get the scews in. Littler ones may not care as long as they're just banging around on the workbench. The wrench does not give a nice feel either. Overall, I am VERY disappointed in this product and not sure how long my child will use it. If you are a parent who have a lot of time and will sit with your child to engage him/her in active play, this will work because you can help out. If you are thinking this will give your 4-5+ years old hours of play, this is not the right toy to use. If this was around $35-$40, I would've felt less inclined to write this review. But any toy more than $50 deserves an honest opinion. Please keep in mind not every child is the same and some may find it worthwhile to stay on it. I can see older siblings liking this and probably playing along because they have more strength and fully developed fine motor skills to maneuver. I buy LOTS of toys and different children's items for my kids and also read endless reviews before deciding on purchasing or adding something to their Wish List. In doing so, I usually feel very satisfied with 96% of my purchases. I would've returned this purchase if it weren't a gift. Assembly was not difficult and the instructions were very clear with pictures.
