Used for Halogen to LED conversion, Seem good quality
Replacing 15 MR-16 halogen lights with LED bulbs in the same fittings. the original driver PSU's struggled with the lower wattage LED bulbs and would flicker and buzz (common issue, older drivers for Halogen need a bigger load than the LED's provide in order to have a stable output). As an ex-electronics engineer I wanted to check the design and quality of these before putting them in the ceiling as there are a lot of cheap and nasty (and potentially dangerous) import units on the market. So couldn't resist looking inside one before installation. Got to say I'm pretty impressed, the nice little switchmode PSU, circuit is well laid out with an internal (non replaceable) fuse and a fair bit of filtering, proper primary-secondary isolation and capacitors that are higher temp rated. Overall looks like a well designed and good quality product for the price. My only criticism is minor, the screw terminals are very small so you will struggle if your lighting wiring needs several units in parallel or (as suggested in the description) you want to wire several LED fittings to the same driver module ( I didn’t do this, the modules are cheap enough that I decided to keep the original setup in my house of one driver/transformer per fitting and in some areas I want to use 6.5w LED bulbs anyway) Needless to say they work well and the flickering and buzzing of my LED bulbs is completely eliminated. Should last a long time going by the design. Now I’m satisfied with the lights in the kitchen I’ll be ordering 10 more to do the hallway and main bathroom. Well worth the effort, as I’ll be replacing 750W of lighting with less than 100W and the result will be brighter and more reliable.

Great VFM. No more flicker
I bought 3 of these initially to see how long they last. After moving into a new house with 27 downlights, I wanted to change from halogen bulbs to LED. The first set I bought have lasted over a year, so I thought I'd start to replace the others in my house. Great price, they do the job perfectly, the only thing to be aware of is, they do not come pre-wired, so therefore you need to spend a bit of time preparing before you install them.......I only need another 18!

Good low price driver
Great price. Works well. Quick delivery. Plastic maybe not the best quality but dosent matter but not seen when fitted. I would buy again.

Replacement drivers that work a treat
Bought these to replace all 6 in my kitchen as they had started to flicker the bulbs and cause problems. All 6 worked after installation, which was fairly easy. The units are quite small so went straight up through the downlighter hole without having to remove the fitting. The only slight problem I had was that the 12v side connection holes are very small, even with the screw fully undone. The screws are designed to not drop out when undone which is great, but the cable holes were quite tight for the lampholder wires (MR10). I used a pair of pliers to squash the lampholder connectors slightly and in they went. Longevity is unknown but they have worked for their first week. Drivers in my experience have a lifetime of 2-4 years before they start to cause problems so hopefully these will make that ok. For this price a good buy I'd say.

Easy to fit
Great product , no more difficult to wire in than a plug - had my bathroom, kitchen & dining room done in 2 hours with only basic tools and basic knowledge . Only given 3 stars for longevity as I only fitted them a month ago so can’t honestly say . Results are great , the rooms are so much brighter and, weirdly, more modern looking ! Also cheaper on the electric bills than the old halogen ones . Would totally recommend

Works perfectly
I bought these to upgrade the drivers for under-cabinet lights in the kitchen. I changed the bulbs from halogen to LED but the drivers weren't LED rated so the bulbs either flashed constantly or didn't come on. Should have checked first. Simple job to remove the old, install the new, and no more flickering :)

All working on arrival
I bought 25 of these to replace old 12VAC transformers and swapping over to 12VDC LED 7A downlighter spots, all are functional on arrival, so 4 stars until I’ve had them a year or so. The new bulbs say AC/DC, but they seemed to burn out running them on the old AC transformers, so hope these DC versions will be kinder to the bulbs. To those saying they are fiddly, use the correct size screwdriver and no bigger than AWG18 cable tails, and yes cable up the drivers on the kitchen table, not up a stepladder! Usually advisable to replace all the bulb connector tails at the same time, these get tired and loose.

Get the correct 12v transformers for your non-dimmable lights
I am a lighting electrician working in the entertainment industry and use manufactured and "wire your own" LED fixtures frequently. I recently changed our bathroom transformers for these. Each bulb was wired to feed an individual light and were powered from transformers that were designed for 6-20watts. This is fine if you wire a few lights in parallel within those contraints but in our case, the original transformers were not suitable for individual low wattage bulbs below 6watts, which most of them are. These claim to work from as low as .5watts to 12watts which make them ideal for single LED bulb installations unlike many that are available elsewhere which is why I bought them. They can also power a couple of bulbs if that's your thing. No word on longevity but they appear to work just fine so far (granted only a couple of weeks). I will update if I have any issues with them
