Nature Anatomy Notebook: A Place to Track and Draw Your Daily Observations

I have been reading this book with my 12 year old who I homeschool as part of her science studies. It is amazing! The text is direct and to the point which we LOVE. It doesn't have all that extra wasteful fluff you get with a text book. It is a great starting point for further studies. There are some things my daughter and I just read and take in and there are other things that really fascinate us and we explore that topic more on our own. Point is we get to decide what we want to learn more about instead of a book trying to overload us with more information on a subject than we need or want. Plus the pictures/visuals are beautiful :) I highly recommend this book if you are someone who wants direct to the point explanations of things that happen and/or occur in nature.

Nice format

Book is very nicely done. Organized by season with plenty of entry spots - more writing versus drawing areas to track your memories. Cool art with information scattered throughout to draw and learn anatomy of animals and plants. Highly recommend .

I absolutely love this journal. It is divided into seasons with beautiful inspiration sprinkled in amongst the journaling pages. There are also "How to draw..." pages, little guides for nature sketching. Such a beautiful notebook inspires me.

Beautiful nature journal! Lots of room for your own observations with a few art and science starters sprinkled throughout. I can’t wait to see how my kids fill them up!

Very inspirational, the illustrations are so gorgeous

I purchased this hoping there would be a lot of nature drawing tutorials. There were 12 I believe, one for each month. I liked them a lot but I was hoping for more tutorials and less notebook space. I returned it.

The thickness of the pages is wonderful for watercolours. Lots of sections for kids to write small amounts of details. My 6yo loves it!
