Great Kid-Friendly Game
My 7 year old LOVED this game. He skipped over sections of it to rush through finishing the plot, but it was fun to go back through it and get all the extras that were missed along the way.For those that play other Lego games, the difficulty of this one is a little higher than Lego Ninjago but easier than Marvel and DC. There is a fair amount of roaming around, but not so much you are likely to get lost or completely off track.

He wanted it so he got it
My nephew asked for this game for his Birthday, I told him about the reviews and let him read them for himself. He said he didn't care and he want to make up his own mind about it (smart kid he gets it from his Aunt) lol. He loves the game and hes a happy kid. So I'm a happy Aunt.

Well worth it!!
Amazing how much my child and my wife played this game. If you enjoy the LEGO movie, it’s well worth it (at 39.99 or below). Fun to explore, and not too difficult to enjoy. Co-op is fun as well!

Great for kids. Not adults because it goes fast.
Great game for kids. Not the best for adults who like children games. You get through it super quick. You cannot die. If you die, you get to continue right where you are.

Not the BEST Lego video game ever, but far from the worst
This game was actually purchased by my 8-year-old son with Christmas money given to him by my mother-in-law. He got the movie for Christmas from one of his other grandparents but wanted to buy himself the game too. He decided to play the game before watching the movie... which is his choice but daddy wants to watch the movie and is getting impatient.Kiddo is enjoying it, beat the story pretty fast, and isn't getting frustrated with "100%-ing" the game, nor is it TOO easy for him at almost 9.Personally, if I have to play video games, I'd rather play Tetris, but I don't do horrible with most of the Lego video games and this is one of the better ones in my opinion (Lego Batman 1-3 and Lego Marvel Avengers series not withstanding).

Fun game, not too complicated, good for kids around ages 5+
We got this game for our new Nintendo switch and the kids love it. It’s easy for them to follow along. Really fun to watch and the enjoy unlocking stuff as they go.
