Kotap Adjustable 36-Inch Bungee Cords, 10-Piece, Item: MABC-36 ((.4Sets of 10-Piece))

The plastic hooks are 1/4" x 5/16" so if your application involves grommets smaller than that then don't get these. Otherwise this is a good price for what looks to be a well-made bungee. The cord itself is 5/16" in diameter. To adjust the length yank the cord into a narrow channel in the hooks.

Good quality cords, but they are shorter than advertised. I bought both the 24" and the 30", and the 24" came in about 18", the "30" about 24".Didn't return them because they are well built, and I found other homes for them. But had to go out and buy other cords to do what I wanted done.Buy the next bigger size up!

One thing I do not like about this is that they do not stretch as good as the Master Lock 3041DAT SteelCor Bungee Cords with Organizer, 10-Pack sold by Amazon which have lasted outside for 3 years. I just purchased these Kotap's and they are already fading. Time will tell how long they will hold up...

Had a long move, so I needed something to keep a tarp down on my truck. These were perfect. Easy to adjust and fit great. In spite of driving through rain, all my things were nice and dry thanks to these cords keeping the tarp in place. I've found a bunch of uses for them since. Great product.

The hooks on these bungees are terrible & dangerous!I tried several out of the pack and have had problems with more than just one.I use bungee cords all the time for work and have not had issues like this with other brands.The hook seems easily jostled/shifted, letting it unhook itself during transit. Am currently nursing a huge welt on my face where I got hit with the hook when it twisted off this morning.Am grateful it didn't hit me in the eye!Just wanted to warn other potential buyers that this product is dangerous!

It's surprising how often these come in useful. I use them a lot for photography, holding stands and cameras in place. Today I used them to bind lots of pieces of wood together before I chainsawed them all at once.

These things are great. I had never heard of an adjustable bungee cord but these draw up easily and hold the tarps covering my firewood very securely and easily. Thanks for a great product

I purchased my Kotap adjustable bungee cords in 18" and 36" lengths. They took much longer to arrive than expected, iirc the ad said one or two day delivery when part of an order of $35 or more, then after purchase a much longer date was given. These bungees have hooks with through passages for the elastic rope with V-shaped notches at the exit of the passage so that the unused end portion ot the elastic rope can be pulled away from the hook so as to become wedged and thereby locked into the notch. The hooks are molded plastic over a steel core, and about a third of my hooks had the notches filled with casting flash. This soft plastic flash was removed without too much difficulty using needle nose pliers, since a knife or other sharp tool would probably damage the elastic cord or sheath. The 18" cords did not exhibit this problem. The 8mm elastic rope looks to be of good quality and standard size, but only time will tell how they withstand environmental exposure. Overall, these look pretty good, however, I am not sure how much I would rely on the adjustability feature to remain tight.It should also be noted that the advertised length of these bungees is overall - end to end, (unstretched) and the hooks are 4.5 inches each. This is much bigger than your typical bungee. Thus, the 36";s seemed ok, my 18" bungees (sounds long) actually only have 9" of elastic cord between the hooks. Seem like real shorties, but still useable. Next time I will order one size up.
