My teenage daughter is reading the books. She loves them

I understand why you need twists in a story, but this one is in the wrong direction. I can't believe what is happening to the characters after all they went through. This progression is not interesting and a little predictable.So far this is my least favoured of the books.It could only get better, I hope.Characters are drawn well but the story was not as enjoyable.
