DMC cardboard bobbins are the best for keeping your floss organized for any project you want to work on. I use the cardboard ones because you can recycle them when you are done or you can throw them away and the'll decompose quickly. Far, far better than plastic bobbins.

These are the only bobbins I buy. The plastic ones are too thick and no matter what I use to write on them, it always wears off. Other brands of paper/cardboard bobbins are either weirdly shaped or too flimsy. These are perfect.

DMC's sturdy cardboard floss bobbins are the only ones I'll buy, regardless of the floss brand I'm winding on them. DMC bobbins are thicker and higher quality than cheaper cardboard bobbins which are too flimsy to trust. DMC bobbins are white on both sides - better looking than the one-sided cheaper stuff. The cardboard is easy to write on and can be relabeled if pencil is used. Plastic bobbins will only hold 6-ply floss while DMC cardboard bobbins will hold 1 ply to 6 plies securely. The cardboard is also recyclable. 5 stars!

This is a terrific item to have when you have multiple DMC floss color number threads.I bought them after I had bought on eBay a collection of 404 DMC floss color number threads. They had all ready been wrapped around these types of DMC cardboard bobbins. But my goal was to be able to buy all of the rest of the missing DMC floss color number threads.I did find them all and bought them and having these DMC Cardboard Bobbins helped me complete my collection.I now have ALL of the DMC floss color number threads all wrapped around these DMC Cardboard Bobbins. Except unfortunately I don't have the few DMC floss color numbers that have been discontinued. Although I still search for one of them.I also bought the DMC floss color number stickers and the floss bobbin containers to store them all in. Actually I now have *7* of the floss number bobbins in them. So I guess that you can say that I am now ready for any DMC Cross Stitch kit or project.

I prefer the cardboard over the plastic bobbins as they fit in my organizer better and these are perfect!

I use these to keep my embroidery floss organized. Bobbins are sturdy cardboard and easy to use. Definitely recommend these.

These are by far my favorite bobbins for embroidery floss and I love the bulk package option. Item arrived quickly and just as described.

They do the job but would be nice if they were a bit thicker

Knew what I as getting as purchased at the local craft store. Cheaper to buy in bulk verses single at the crat store
