Got this to quickly measure when doing DIY. So much easier than the old measuring tape. Seems reasonable accurate (have only checked it towards measuring tape in range of 2-3m), well enough for measuring walls etc.In consideration to the price, the quality is surprisingly good. Still to see how it fairs with long term use, but since it is really cheap I'm not that concerned.Also very easy to understand. I'm one of those who likes to figure everything out without the manual and did my first measurement after a few minutes without any problems. There is a manual though and it's quite good at describing main features.Any negatives? Well, only one so far... There is a wrist strap supplied, but it's not attached to the meter. Quite fiddly to get it through the holes. With help of a thin steel wire I eventually managed to get it through...

Use this daily, and love it... Shame no option for a protectivr case, even as an extra over... Love it for the value.

Great purchase on this. Compact for the toolbox and straight forward to use. Measuring is quick and easy. Solid product with a bunch of features. Save your money as tuis works well!

So it was really great to begin with. But in the end I didn't use it very much, last time 6 months ago. Turned it on... and of course it doesn't work. The display lights up, but it doesn't take measurements. There are no free lunches with this thing. Avoid, and avoid stuff like it.

product did what it was supposed to but after a couple of month just stopped working. Despite not using it much and being careful when carrying it around the device mysteriously just would work anymore. not sure what the manufacturer has to say to this but value for money, irrespective of the price, is not great when the product is dysfunctional...

My husband is a joiner and every time I want to borrow his measure tape he insists on doing it for me. I was compiling details of room sizes and decided to invest in this laser measure and I love it!Quick and easy measurement of all the rooms in the house.

I bought this unit just as anither gadget for the toolbox but it genuinely is very useful.To use you just place the bottom of the unit against one of the walls and the press the main central button it will then display the measurement in meters (This can be changed also to Feet or inches).The unit has Single mode measurement or continuous measurement more which is very useful.The unit can also be used as a bubble level although I haven't quite worked that out yet :)Great little unit that works on any surface

Measurements way out at short distances. Wouldn't recommend if you need to be precise.
