A critical component of the project and it worked as expected.
So far so good. This worked perfectly to integrate my pool automation panel with a raspberry pi using the AqualinkD project. Now my pool automation does not have an Internet access dependency like it did with iAqualink.

Reliable FTDI RS485 to USB Cable — Perfect for Raspberry Pi Projects
I used this FTDI RS485 to USB serial cable to decipher RS485 signals from my Jandy Aqualink pool controller and feed them into a Raspberry Pi Zero W 2. It worked exactly as expected and made it easy to automate controls based on the data. This setup has been running for over a year now, exposed to harsh outdoor conditions, and the cable hasn’t missed a beat. Stable connection, no driver headaches, and rock-solid reliability. If you’re doing any RS485 decoding or automation work, this is a solid choice.

Works for Danfoss inverters
Bought it to connect to a Danfoss FCM307 inverter via the MCT-10 software and it works perfectly

Works with Every Program I Use
I have bought many of these. They work - always.

Does what it should
Works well for my application (read jandy's aqualink info over rs485). A little bit pricey

No complaints!
Works great, way better than the multiple adapter setup that I had before! Just punched down to a female Cat5 connector with the pins I needed and was off and away. Have recommended to the rest of my team to replace a manufacturer specific $150 item. Note, jacket on the bare wires is too thick to crimp into male Cat5 end.

These are the good ones
We use these to program industrial logic controllers, This is the real deal not a clone, so the drivers actually work.

Quality rs485 inteerface
This is an RS485 interface with the standard FTDI chipset.

OEM product, similar quality to what is supplied by the major electronics providers, but considerably cheaper. I will buy again in future.

Perfetto
P**.
It claimed, and the photo showed, that it was an FTDI-manufactured lead. But it wasn't, so returned for credit and ordered a cheaper, more honest, compatible lead.

No manual or any description - had to find out on internet. But working OK without issues and without drivers as other device I tried. Can recommend.
