This has always been my favorite and go-to brand of do it myself hair color. It’s easy to use, dependable, affordable and gives good gray coverage :) First picture is about 10 days after most recent coloring. 2nd pic is sometime prior to coloring (it had most likely been 6 mos since I had colored - just got busy Yikes lol). I currently use this particular color because it’s closest to my natural color (I think anyway lol), and right now I’m most interested in covering gray hair. In the past I have used some other shades within this same color level (6) from this brand. While at other times I varied in color levels. I once went darker (level 5) and other times lighter - even much much lighter (level 9 or 10 in my 30s) and spent many years using a level 8G (in my 40’s). My mom has tried different hair dyes over the years, but this one from L’Oreal Paris Excellence Creme is her favorite. The shade 1 Black gives her rich, even color that looks natural and vibrant. Most importantly, it covers her grays completely and lasts for weeks without fading. She says it works better than the ones she’s picked up at Walmart before, and she really notices the difference in quality. The included conditioner leaves her hair soft and shiny, not dry like some other brands. Overall, this is a reliable, salon-quality dye that delivers exactly what it promises. My mom is very happy with it and gives it a full 5 stars.

This color (4A) of hair dye turned out much darker than indicated on the packaging. Be aware of this color . The kit includes shampoo and conditioner, which makes hair care easier immediately after dyeing.

My wife and I have used L'Oreal Paris Excellence Creme Permanent Hair Colors for several years, finding the only thing we don’t like is when they discontinue a color we love and use often - as has happened far too many times. Not sure why, since the colors are always hard to find at our stores since people buy and use them. One would think these companies get people LIKE the product and want more... Anyway, we have used L'Oreal Paris colors for a number of years and this L'Oreal Paris Excellence Creme Permanent Hair Color version is my wife’s current choice - she can no longer find colors she likes better. In fact, to this point, we found a color of another brand (at a stylist’s store) for my hair that they have not gotten rid of - in other words, my color continues to be available, but from another brand. It is a “professional” brand and we would both say the process is as easy and the outcome as good or better than any of the L'Oreal Paris Colors we have used. But, she can’t find a color in their offerings yet she likes, so she continues with the L'Oreal Paris Colors As far as ease of use, L'Oreal Paris Excellence Creme Permanent Hair Color is easy and I, as the one putting it on for her, can do it well, giving her a great overall look. She’s always been very happy with the outcomes of the L'Oreal Paris brand. I loved it too until I lost my color - truthfully I love my new color better. Even we guys like to look good. In the end, this L'Oreal Paris Excellence Creme Permanent Hair Color is a good one, she’ll stick with it until she can find a color she likes better, but the brand itself has always done well for us and she continues to go back - when we can get those colors she likes - because it is reliable and easy. That said, if they continue to limit the reddish-browns she loves, she will switch to another professional kind as she uses for me. We prefer doing it ourselves and L'Oreal Paris as been as easy and good quality for a decent price as the professional one.

I am really happy with L’Oreal Paris Excellence Crème hair dye. The color covers gray hair completely and lasts a long time. After using it, my hair looks darker, healthier, and honestly makes me look younger. What I liked most is how clean the application is. The color does not spread or stain the skin, which makes the whole process much easier and less messy. The cream texture is smooth and easy to apply evenly. I also got it at the cheapest price I have ever seen, which made the purchase even better. For the quality and results, this is excellent value for money. I am very satisfied and will definitely order more in the future.

This is an easy to use color system that delivers consistent color every time! The addition of a shampoo and conditioner for use after color makes your hair even more silky feeling. I have NOT experienced any over drying of my hair. I am naturally a medium brown and this product gets me to light blond in one application. I do use purple shampoo every other week after coloring to keep the brassiness down. In comparison to salon color I would say this is of equal value, especially if you have someone who can help you apply it evenly over your hair.

It arrived a little after the expected delivery date. But the seller sent a message ahead of time that it is possible to happen. But offered help if it was necessary. It was packed safely and well. The item worked well on dark blonde hair.

I normally get my hair coloured at hairdresser. I have deep ash blonde “base” with multi highlights. Dreaded ruining my hair with home colour. Beautiful colour. My hair feels fantastic. Roots (grey) for 25 minutes then worked the colour thru my hair for 3-5 minutes. Grey covered. Multicoloured hair. Great. Toned down any brassiness with pulling colour thru my hair for minimal time. The pre-root conditioner is great. Pulled thru bottom 1/2 of my hair.

I ordered 4 boxes & they came late, i was disheartened, however when they came i was very surprised, it covered my copper hair dye and looks and feels great, no runs or mess in the bathroom and i only needed to use 2 boxes this time so coverage is great, i hated the smell while applying, but it soon go's when you wash and the shampoo an conditioner is very refreshing, my hair is glossy and healthy, my new go to hair dye for sure.

I haven’t used the product yet as it didn’t come with any gloves which was frustrating.
