Very easy setup and great quality
After reading the assembly comments reviews, I am happy to say that my assembly was a breeze. The instructions were very, very easy and simply illustrated. I prefer this than having lots of unnecessary details that make things seem difficult and confusing. The only two things I would fix in the instructions manual is to specify that when installing the wheels, these assemble from the bottom, not the top. If put on top the holes won’t align for obvious reasons but the manual doesn’t show this been installed from the bottom of the base. Also disregard that adding the wheels would not allow it to sit flat, this will even out when the “legs” are added. I need to mention this because I analyze and seem to overthink as I assemble things lol. Also only thighten all screws in a section after all screws are in. This is Assembly 101 :). If screws are tightened before the section is completed, the holes won’t line up. This applies to any assembly of anything. The other thing is that the last 3 screws that attach the deflector to the unit are referred as M3/16. This is incorrect as they are actually thicker and are butterfly screws but this was easy to figure out as these were the last three screws left anyways and they were also thicker. I would recommend attaching the gas hose prior to attaching the control box to the unit to make sure the connection could be tighten appropriately and box don’t get in the way of the wrench or tools. Always do the gas leak check with soapy water. Lightning it up was super easy as well. After opening the propane gas tank valve, rotate the knob to the “light up” icon depicted by a flame and keep pressing it down for a few seconds. Keeps pressing the knob all the way down and push the red starter button until the pilot light lights up. Mine was immediate. After the pilot lights up, just so slightly release a bit pressure of the push button by letting come towards you so that is halfway pressed in and turn it to low or high. I haven’t had the opportunity to try it in the cold weather yet but I know these do not heat up as well as the mushrooms so I have been warned but I love the ambience it provides so for me it’s a good purchase :). Customer Service was fast, friendly and great too as I had a question as soon as it came out of the box. It was answered and even tips given.

Excellent product.
Got the all stainless version. Fast shipping and well packaged. No dents, dings, or bent parts. No missing parts. Self assembled and took nearly 3 hours...but I had a number of interruptions. Survived the assembly with only 2 very small cuts...lots of sharp edges. Heat output as expected as I have been to quite a few patio restaurants using the same and these don't have high heat output. Flame shooting up the tube is mesmerizing and has made an attractive addition to our patio. Well worth the money.

great value for the price
amazing for the price...really looks cool at night...does a wonderful job heating the area....very rugged...mine has already been through a snowstorm...and multiple rainy days...no rustThe only negative is that it's a pain in the butt to put together....some of the pieces don't match up perfectly...and you end up having to bend, tweak, curse, and take apart and put certain pieces back together again. Give yourself a minimum of a couple hours to put this bad boy together....

Light heat with perfect lighting!
It took time and patience to assemble but once complete, well worth it! Gives off the perfect amount of light to relax. One unit doesn't put out enough heat to fully keep warm on a cold night in an open space, but two units would suffice to heat a small area. Packaged with care. Overall very happy with purchase!

One heater will not lite, no way to contact Legacy heaters or get a response from Amazon
The heaters really do heat that well, they look good and quite a bit of assembly. Not a way to reach Amazon or Legacy Heater to fix an issue after getting this assembled and finding out one of the heaters will not stay lit.

Great looking heater that is an excellent value for the price
This is easy to set up, but be careful to read directions. It takes time, but the only real skill you need is using a screwdriver. It gives off heat, but not as much as other types of heaters. This looks great and you are giving up a little heat to get a better looking heater. The glass tube adds ambience and heat and one of the benefits is that it serves as lighting in addition to heating. How hot? Well if you are sitting near it in 50 degreee weather it keeps you warm within 6 feet or so

Nice heaters hampered by horrendous quality control
Bought four of these heater for a restaurant patio. Price for each unit at the time of purchase was $219.99 so these were close to the least expensive heaters of this type and size on Amazon. Needless to say, you definitely get what you pay for.Assembly of these things is a complete chore. The manfacturer decided to pre-install all the screws into each piece so you're forced to remove every single one of them before you can actually start assembling the unit; a huge waste of time and effort. On top of that, all four heaters had varying levels of visible damage and/or manufacturing errors straight out of the box. One had brackets so badly bent from the factory that I had to hammer and pry them into shape. Another was shipped with an incorrect side panel, and all four of them had significant dings in the heat deflector. Speaking of which, on three out of the four units, the top piece that mounts the heat deflector was not screwed together properly from the factory, so the heat deflector appears crooked instead of square with the heater itself. The directions aren't great but everything is pretty self explanatory.Other than that, they work. The heat output feels adequate and more than anything, they're very eye catching. One of the four heaters is a little tricky to start and operate on full blast because I suspect something is blocking the gas flow, but that might just be our tank for that unit. For the price I'd say these heaters were worth it. I wasn't expecting perfection and these certainly weren't perfect in terms of how god-awful the quality control and as a result, the assembly process were, but they get the job done. Hopefully they hold up in the long term.
