After a year of having my wife cut my hair during The pandemic, it finally dawned on me to buy a proper cape instead of using a thick bath towel and clothes pins to protect my clothes from the falling hair. This is just like the pro hair shops and is light weight and much cooler in temperature than a towel around your neck. Really worth having to feel much better in the chair and snaps around the neck has many choices to fit everyone. Wish I had bought it with clippers. Very very good cape. This is nice... good strong Material. I like that the snaps .r not to far apart from the neck adjecting the size is perfect.it's long enough so the hair won't get on you.and the back drapes long also.no problems there.it's easy to clean. I wouldn't put it in the dryer on low.. air drying is best .( option). Am happy with the price awesome!. If ur cutting or useing this every day .. to avoid washing so much because of the neck line of different people .. Purchase disposable paper cloths to wrap around people neck and u will be set...

I have been cutting my son's hair for 15 years, and the hair always gets everywhere. He would be covered in hair, which caused him to itch terribly, and the hair would get embedded into both of our clothes. I recently had the brilliant idea of getting a cape! (Don't know why I didn't do it sooner.) We used it for the first time today, and what a difference it made!! It sealed off the hair from him completely and, amazingly, it didn't get all over me either. Combined with a big fluffy neck brush that I bought, he was good as new and didn't have to go jump in the shower. The cap is well-made, and has a bunch of snaps, so it will snugly fit any size neck. It was very reasonably priced and I am very happy with the purchase, I would get another in a heartbeat. The reason for 4 stars is that I wish it was quite a bit longer in the back. I wanted to drape it over the back of the chair, but it wasn't long enough to do that. Still, great product and a reasonable price. If you cut people's hair, do them a big favor and order one of these.

This is a professional barber's cape or salon cape. Before this my wife cut my hair and I wore like a plastic bag, ha ha. This is a vast improvement and appears to be just like the ones in a barber shop. Indespensible if you have your hair cut or styled at home.

Now my fella doesn't have to sit shirtless in the yard with itchy hair clippings all over him, which is a major plus for us and the neighbors, who I'm sure did not enjoy the sight of a man sitting outside with what looked like weird fur shoulderpads during their bbq (he vetoed using a towel or shirt to cover him after the first few times we tried that, since the hair wouldn't shake off the fabric on either, and we'd always end up with hair clippings all over the washing machine). I use this for at-home haircuts only, about once a month or so, but seems like this is sturdy enough for more regular use. It's the only one I could find for a reasonable price that had decent back coverage, button neck adjustment, and was washable. Hair slides right off it, and it washed well (no damage/fading/etc coming out of a wash on warm temp).
