I bought a similar product about a year ago that had red tips on the bristles. Very quickly, the red tips started breaking off. After a year, so many were broken I had to throw it away. This brush appears to have more durable tip design. It is also lighter and more comfortable to use and the control lock feature is very helpful. It works well to straighten and smooth my hair. I really like it. **UPDATE** Unfortunately, after 3 months, the brush no longer turns on. There is a lifetime warranty, but you have to pay $24.99 for return shipping, and pay to ship to to them, so you might as well buy a whole new brush. Very disappointing, as I really did like the brush.

Bought it for my 10 year old. Think, curly hair!! She can use it well herself but it needs several passes to actually do a decent straightening job.

Buttons are inconvenient because they get in the way of you grabbing it. Heats up nice, have to pass it through my hair several times, like 15 to 20 times to get it flat straight. Good for men hair to if they want a sleak back. Make sure you hair isn't tangled. Shuts off on it's own.

This brush is even better than I expected! My hair is naturally straight but when I wake up in the morning, it sometimes looks a little crazy. This brush smooths and straightens in no time flat and my hair has never been so shiny! Even my 12 year old daughter uses it and loves it! Amazing brush with an amazing price.

Purchased for a Christmas gift. Disappointed when that family member called to tell me it wasn't working. Returning and giving it one more try. If the replacement doesn't work I will not reorder.

Sheerness? Thickness? Odd categories Amazon. Anyway. Great concept. But just painful as heck to use. Imagine trying to brush your hair with a 19lb brush made of nails. Yep. Kinda like that. I’ll check back in a decade when it’s perfected! For now, sticking why my Chi flatiron, so much less painful...

My hair is fine but has curl/wave to it (which almost always is more like frizz). My hair is too fine for chemical straighteners so I'm left with heat to manage my hair. A video lead me to look into brushes since my flat iron leaves my hair looking... well.. flat. After looking at multiple items I decided to go with this. I don't regret it. The other reviews aren't lying, it really doesn't take long to straigten and after my hair feels really soft and even after a couple days I still don't have frizz. I've never had that. I'm so incredibly happy with it, I'd recommend it to anyone to try.

I've had this for a few months now and I wish I could use it more because its really nice and simple to use.I've never owned anything like straighteners, irons, or hot brushes, but this was nice for someone like me who is starting out.
