Good Brushes
I love these brushes. The black ferrules don't reflect studio light. They maintain their point. The synthetic bristles hold their shape and they lay down paint rather than push it. Cleaning is tricky. Reason why I say this is: the bristles are so tightly bound together that if you load your brush heavily then even after you rinse with OMS, you can be deceived believing all the paint is gone. However, when I go to use an actual brush cleaner/preserver cake, I still pull out a lot of paint. A lot of new, syns are made tight like this to keep their shape, just be more aware and clean your bristles more fully and I believe you will be pleased with these beautiful brushes.

The best
This is my favorite brush. Never splits. Holds paint. Cleans easy. Able to do fine work. Never loses its shape. I will be purchasing more. Filberts are my most used brushes
