Not bad for the price!
I was very satisfied for what I payed. Reel fit nice on my 13’ pole and the weight is not bad to balance out setup. Reels nice and turns good for the price. Only issues were the clicker button is shaped and placed in spot were it gets bumped a lot. Once you use it is not a problem.

Just change the bearings.
I want to test free-line float fishing on the flats, back-channels, inlets and jetties here in south Florida. BUT, I wasn't about to pay crazy dollars for a reel with drastically fewer working parts than any spinning reel. I could only get the reel to spin for about 10 seconds (full tension), until I realized that the thumb screw holding the reel to the axel post adjusts tension. Backing-off from full tightness by an 1/8th to 1/16 greatly increases the time. However, these bearings are metal (not stainless) and will not hold-up to saltwater conditions. Replacing them was very easy. I paid about $35 for a set of full ceramic ABEC-9 bearings found here on Amazon (although not sure it lives up to the ABEC rating). That's a crazy good price for full ceramic bearings that matches well with the crazy good price for the reel. The ceramic bearings will hold-up to saltwater conditions far better than stainless steel, and do not require any lube. At full tension I was getting about a 30 second spin, but backing off the tension by an 1/8th to a 1/16th of a turn and it spins for nearly 4 minutes! So, for just around $100 combined (reel and bearings), I have a high performing center pin reel. With the above stated, I will say that it most likely does not compete with the reels coming in at around $350-500. This reel does have an ever so slightly noticeable wobble and the shaft is not likely as smooth, but it will get the job done.P.S. The bearings that I purchased as replacements were: 2Pcs 687 Fishing Reel Bearing 7x14x5mm ABEC-9 Full Ceramic Ball Bearing (Inner Diameter : 7mm, Outer Diameter : 14mm)

Worth the money!
Reel works and looks as good as a more expensive reel.

The line finds it way under the spool and tangles in the clicker.
The reel actually free spools ok but the gap between the spool and the frame allows the line to go behind the spool and tangles with the clicker. You then need to unscrew the pin and untangle the line. The free spools knob turns much to easy and it engages when it is just touched.I would not recommend buying this reel.

Garbage
The media could not be loaded. Loved this except the housing for the bearings were all gouged up like someone had tried to remove the bearings incorrectly. Did a return hoping the next reel will not have the same issue.*** update. Got the new reel quick and it was grinding right out of the box. Garbage don't waste your money on this.
