Spirited Away - No-Face Mysterious Street Lights, 126 Piece Art Crystal Jigsaw Puzzle (126-AC66)

I didn't bother reading the details and was shocked when I received it to find that it was very tiny! I thought I was scammed or something, and laughed out loud at how ridiculous the puzzle seemed! Little did I know that it's part of the charm of the puzzle. I gave it a chance and started piecing it together. It took around an hour, give or take 30 minutes, so it was a easy task, not very challenging for an adult. It's plastic and the pieces snap together with clear click when they belong to that spot. If it doesn't belong, you won't feel / hear that nice snapping sound of the pieces fitting together. Despite it being a short activity, it would be just as fun piecing it together a second time and I think it looks just beautiful! I'm going to buy a 4x6 plastic ID lanyard and suction cup and hang it on the window, so that it can be displayed but so that I can pull it out and piece it together again whenever I feel like it.

I have several of these crystal studio ghibli puzzles and love them all. The pieces literally click into place and you can pick it up without it falling apart. Must have for any studio ghibli fan!!

This was fun to put together. The pieces were so small I feared I would lose one but I did it. I love how tightly the pieces fit together, too. Something about the need to add a little push into putting the piece in the slot was most satisfying. I felt like the puzzle itself was durable enough for me to pick right up off the table like it was all one big piece of plastic (I tried. It was not THAT snug). I was surprised the puzzle was plastic but now that I have a child, I am completely pleased with the material choice. It has survived floating in a puddle of juice, falling onto the floor, being kicked and stepped on by the kid, and batted around by cats. As long as you find all the pieces, this thing will last forever. Totally worth it, really. I would like to buy all my puzzles in this puzzle's quality. I want a bigger one like this, too. The pieces, though plastic, aren't fragile nor are they roughly made, so there's no worry of breaking them accidently and the end result is a smooth puzzle that is just satisfying to touch. The downside is, if you attempt to force a pieces where it doesn't go (as we all do unintentionally) the pieces will get stuck and you have to sort of... 'pry' is too strong a word as its not difficult, just a little more forceful than you would with a cardboard puzzle... wiggle them apart.

This puzzle was a gift for my 11 year old. It's small, measuring about 4"x6", but was challenging enough to keep her busy for a bit! Clear pieces made it a bit hard to see if the piece fit right, but the pieces snap together when correct. Because they snap together, you can pick up the completed puzzle without it falling apart! Downside is that we were missing a piece. Clearly a problem because there is a form you can submit to get the piece, but it's all in Japanese! There is an online form too, but also in Japanese. However, thanks to Google Lens, we were able to translate and completed the online submission to avoid postage fee. Two days later we received an email notice that our submission was received and the shipment of our missing piece will be on it's way. Guess we'll see if it arrives!
