Elizabeth Taylor: My Love Affair With Jewellery Hardcover – Closed-captioned, 30 Sept. 2002

This book has been on my wish list for ages.The copy I bought was at an excellent price, was in very good condition, and arrived promptly. I’m delighted with my purchase.

I was delighted with this book, although found it very expensive. The condition it arrived in was as 'brand new'. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading it and it is now on the guest bedside cabinet for visitors. I have had one visitor since the arrival of the book who also really enjoyed leafing through the book. The pictures of the jewellery are great and Miss Taylors explains the history of each peice. As the whole collection will be up for auction later this year, it will be interesting to see how the collection will be broken up. There are further books available at Amazon on other jewellery collectons (at much cheaper prices)which I am now considering buying. however I like to think this book will become a classic that may even go up in value.

It is a beautiful book which I shall enjoy reading through the short winter months here in Turkey - I share the same passion for jewellery as Miss Taylor did,unfortunately my pocket doesn't stretch the same but I can still admire and appreciate from afar.I had a difficult delivery date a this book could not be posted to Turkey but I happened to be in the UK for 2 weeks.A lady call Courtney kndly pulled out all the stops to make sure the book would be in England the same time as me so that I could bring it back with me - thankyou Courtney.As usual first class service from Amazon and associates.Well done.

The book arrived promptly and in very good order. The photos are sumptuous and the text was clearly written by Miss Taylor herself. It's not a geological tour of gems, but it is fun, bright, and shows her passion for jewellery off to advantage. You feel you know more about both Miss Taylor and her world-class collection when you have finished the book. Given that her collection has now been dispersed, it is also useful catalogue of some of her favourite pieces.

Took a long time to arrive but good quality

it is a huge shame that this wonderful book was in a poor condition, the entire book spine had come away and considering it was almost 50 uk pounds a bit of a cheek to sell it at this price so unfortunately it had to be returned.

Beautiful pictures and stories

I ordered thinking it would be brand new but it was a used copy. A little deceiving but in great condition so I kept it and im so glad I did.Goes into great detail about the largest and most lavish jewelry collection owned by Dame Elizabeth Taylor. Fascinating stories and references and gorgeous pictures. I love the fact that Elizabeth wrote the book before her death in 2011. All the jewelery in the book was auctioned and all proceeds to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS foundation. She was not even buried with any jewelry or costume jewelry as she said she was only borrowing them for others to later enjoy. What a class act! If you can get your hands on this book for less than $75... its a steal! Enjoy!

Amazing book with amazing pictures of this beautiful persons jewellery collection

Très heureuse d'avoir enfin cet ouvrage magnifique. Je viens de le recevoir donc pour le moment j'ai principalement admiré les photos et lu quelques commentaires de Liz : les circonstances dans lesquelles M. Jackson lui avait offert certains de ses plus beaux bijoux. Suis aussi heureuse d'y retrouver certains bijoux que j'avais eu l'occasion d'admirer chez Christies à Paris à l'occasion de la vente aux enchères.... Ses bijoux, Liz Taylor les a tant aimés, c'est aussi un livre plein d'amour....Un trésor à avoir dans sa bibliothèque !
