I am a useful person so understood before i started this that some disassembly would be required before the relatively easy replacement of valves could be done, first removing the right and left levers was in my case a bit tricky I removed the allen club screws completely from both levers located underneath, they were both solidly held on the valve splines so I squirted WD40 into the threaded lever holes and unscrewed the covers from the vales so i could also get WD40 as much as possible into splines of old ceramic valve assembles, using a wooden hammer handle I tapped the valve leavers for an age and more WD40 and after some while they started to loosen off, I eventually removed them you then can remove valve covers from the ceramic valves then after turning off hot and cold water supplies use an appropriate spanner unscrew the old valves out of the housings and fit the new ones, assembly is straight forward and I soon had a hot and cold tap drip free back in use again.

Fixed a leak with quality parts

Perfect fit for my taps with the correct number of splines. First set I ordered lasted 2 years before my taps started dripping again, so not the best out there.

I bought this pair of cartridges needing the hot one to fix a continual drip from my Franke tap. Wanted quick delivery using my Prime account rather than contacting the manufacturer.These cartridges operate though 90 degrees - off/closed at zero and fully on/open at 90.Except the hot cartridge didn't. It was fully on/open at 90 degrees but off/closed at 5 degrees and came on/open again between 4.5 and zero.This means that the handles (cold/hot) don't align when both taps are in the zero position and it is really difficult to find the exact point that the hot tap stops flowing - obviously a manufacturing fault.Amazon has agreed the return/refund.I would recommend buying from the manufacturer directly (Central Spares) as the replacement they sent works 100%.But don't buy Franke Krios taps (or those Franke taps of similar design) unless you enjoy taking a hacksaw to your taps simply to replace a leaky cartridge (but that's another story!)

They're in place easy to fit and doing the job.
