Hot Sex Paperback – 4 Feb. 1999

This book is most definatly worth buying.Even if you 'think' you're in a great sexual relationship, think again!!! Boredome creeps up on you and you just don't notice.This book gives a clear, consise and a humerous guide to sparking up your love life, without being condecending. The text is laid out well, easy to navigate to the areas that are more relevant to your own particular circumstances.Tracey has a unique way in which she delivers the information, very factual, holds no punches and with a great humerous flair, she helps in many ways.Both myself and my wife would recommend this to anyone, the book is awesome. :-)

I really enjoyed this book. I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted to get out of it, I more so bought it out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised. I like the author's writing style, it's very light hearted and refreshingly honest! There are some great tips in this book, even if you are an experienced lover the chances are you haven't tried/you've forgotten about some of these tips. The chapters on oral sex, foreplay, intercourse, orgasms, common sexual problems and couples problems are particularly useful for spicing things up, however as somebody who is in a long-term committed relationship I did find a lot of irrelevant material in here. For example, the book contains chapters on rape, abortion, STIs, contraception, how to find dates, casual sex etc. which might be really useful for some people but don't necessarily apply to my circumstances. I also wouldn't have included some of these chapters under the title 'Hot Sex', which is why I've only given 4 stars instead of 5.Overall, a very good read and I'd recommend it!

The first few chapters of this book are great with guides that are explicit and helpful and which get you thinking. However, it is let down by the "real life" quotes which all seem to be from people who are either very young or complete idiots, often both, and all of whom seem to have a very similar attitude (90s Cosmo) to sex. Given that the book is supposedly aimed at everyone, a wider range of perspectives would have been interesting. The last couple of chapters on long-term relationships are pretty useless for those of us with children, providing advice such as "have sex first thing in the morning at the weekend - then drag him back to bed an hour later". If only.

Down to earth, looking at sex and relationships from both sides. Lots of interesting facts and techniques - who said you couldn't teach an old dog new tricks? When my children are ready I'll tell them to read this as a more informative guide than I, school, or their friends can give them. Sex should be enjoyable for both parties and this book helps boost your understanding and confidence, hopefully, to give new things a try.

Best book details are given simply but descriptive - by far the best sex book - no pictures but that's what your other half is for. We enjoyed cuddling up and reading it together, learning together and playing together!! It has actually made us both look and purchase more Tracy Cox books and items! Well written.

Couples will learn a lot from reading this book. There is the odd section that some might want to skim over but really this author has done a fantastic job. Does what it says on the cover.

The book went into a good level of detail for all areas within sexual relationships, some of which I found was beginner level basic stuff, but this is fine depending on what angle you come at this literature.The key reason for my rating is down to one chapter around around long term relationships. There is some great and fun advice in this section.

This book will help you spice up your love life.

This is a very interesting book with full of info. From the moment you start reading, it catches your attention and you want to keep reading and reading. It took me about 2 days to finish this book. The author explains everything very well and my favorite part of this book is reading all these stories of people sharing some of their most intimate experiences. I can't wait to read her other books.

I've purchased at least 4 copies over the last 10 years, and I'm going to have to purchase another one. Each time I loan it to someone, it's not returned. I can only presume they found it as useful as I did.Pay no attention to the 1-star reviews. They sound like know-it-alls (bragging, perhaps?). There is plenty of good information, presented in an easy to understand way. If you want to take your sex life to the next level, I highly recommend this book.Now, I'm off to order yet another copy...

As a woman, I found the sections about women informative and the sections about men instructive - however - my husband feels the author wasn't properly informed about the male sections. I guess the point of buying this book was to help with communication and that part was 5 stars but the info in the book was clearly written by a female with limited partner experience.

I had seen an early, battered copy and wanted one of my own. I am getting on in years but one is never too old to learn something new!
