Side Cutter Sewing Machine Presser Foot Feet fit Most Low Shank Singer Janome Brother

I had to return it. It would not work right on my Singer Modern Quilter. I wish it had. The fabric just would not cut. I will have to order one made by Singer.

The description of this side cutter should be Disposable side cutter!!!Than I wouldn't give one star. As discribed Disposable, I would know that is for only one use and that was what I'm paying for. But it doesn't say that.I was so excited that finally I found the perfect match for my Janome sewing machine it fits perfectly fine. Looks made strong, good material since it said I can use it on my other sewing machine Brother brand and to make it easy and not to be changing the color of threads I decided to use the Brother with the side cutter exclusive for Overcastings. Well everything looks perfect n set up ready to rumble. I finish sewing so I turn to do overcasting I set up the fabric as instructed and everything went just smooth and perfect on the first try. The second one it was a disaster it didn't cut at all I tried with different types of fabric to see if it was just the thickness or anything else but it didn't work on any type of fabric it just keep making a big nuts of threads because of the fabric stuck n it wasn't walking the way supposed due to the side cutter unable to cut any type of fabrics after the first use. Due to that big nuts of thread that I had to take off left a hole on fabrics and the edges all biter up leaving me with the only option of cut all the edges where I was able to cover the hole n the bitter up fabric end up with less than 1/4 of inch from the sewing line to overcast it was a really messy and stressful ended after the first use. That for I do NOT recommend this side cutter at least not if you work on others clothes or fabrics and if you don't mind to end up working all stressed and dissapointed for not to get the expected results your client deserve.

This product was broken on arrival... the bar hook on top is to loose and will not move with the cutting tool on the bottom 😭

Just got it today and I was so excited.Directions were a tad unclear, but YouTube helped me figure out what I didn't understand.Took me all day to figure out how to make it work. Horrible directions included and poor diagrams.

This is a cheap product $ wise. Hard to maneuver, tried to get it to work multiple times. Got it to work once for about 13 inches and everything was stuck underneath with the bobbin. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong, but it’s does cut very well on thin materials. 2 layers at the most. I will keep trying. I ordered a couple sewing books so we will see. ⭐️⭐️

It works really well! It takes a bit to get used to, but it really works! Best of all, you don't need to jump to a separate machine to do the overclock stitch.It doesn't replace a serger, but if you can't afford one, then this little gadget is an excellent option!

The box was ripped apart when I received it (see picture) but the product didn’t seem damaged so It wasn’t a big deal. The instructions are poorly written, but I attached the foot to the machine and tested it- it did not work as described. The cutter goes up and down with the needle to cut the fabric so it does not make enough contact with the fabric to cut it. It really does not seem that it is even sharp enough to cut. At first I thought maybe I installed it incorrectly, but I found a YouTube video and confirmed I had it installed and used it correctly- it just does not work.

I don’t know why I bought this, I’ll probably never use it. Looks cool though.

I am an experienced sewer and quilter - over 40 years. I thought this might replace some work with my serger for smaller items. NOT! Even after watching numerous videos proclaiming how wonderful this attachment is, it still did not work nor cut - only sewed the seam. Do not get suckered in - this does not work as shown on the videos. Very disappointed.

This product doesn’t cut when sewing. Extremely disappointed!
