Q: Is the mesh hard/stiff??

It’s not “soft” or super flexible but I wouldn’t call it hard or stuff either. It’s a very fine mesh but somewhat rigid because of the size and the binding all around. We bought them to carry bar soap and shampoo while camping. They hang easily and allow the bar soaps to dry without loosing a lot of extra soap or getting dirty. They’ve worked well for that.
